“ I will send four kinds of destroyers against them,” declares the Lord,“ the sword to kill and the dogs to drag away and the birds and the wild animals to devour and destroy.

我要使刀劍臨到你們，報復你們的背約。你們若被趕入城中，我要降瘟疫在你們中間，把你們交在仇敵手中。

論到耶洗別，耶和華說：『狗必在耶斯列的城郭吃耶洗別。凡屬亞哈的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鳥吃。』」

並且這百姓的屍首要給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物，無人嚇走牠們。

「主耶和華如此說：我若將這四樣大災，就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不是更嚴重嗎？

我就觀看，看見一匹灰色馬；騎在馬上的，名字叫作「死」，陰間也隨着他；有權柄賜給他們，可以用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫、野獸，殺害地上四分之一的人。

一起丟給山間的鷙鳥和地上的野獸；鷙鳥要在其上避暑，地上一切的野獸都在那裏過冬。

我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向天空一切的飛鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴上帝的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、將軍的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉、一切自主的和為奴的，以及尊貴的和卑賤的肉。」

野地的走獸，你們都來吞吃吧！林中的野獸，你們也來吞吃！以色列的守望者都瞎了眼，沒有知識；都是啞狗，不會吠叫，只知做夢，躺臥，貪睡，

他們去了，要埋葬她，卻只找到她的頭骨和腳，以及手掌。他們回來報告耶戶，耶戶說：「這正應驗耶和華藉他僕人提斯比人以利亞所說的話，說：『在耶斯列田裏，狗必吃耶洗別的肉，耶洗別的屍體必在耶斯列田裏的地面上如同糞土，甚至沒有人可說：這是耶洗別。』」
