耶和华说：“我命定四样害他们，就是刀剑杀戮、狗类撕裂、空中的飞鸟，和地上的野兽吞吃毁灭；

主又曰、我為之命定四災、刃以殺之、犬以囓之、飛鳥以噬之、野獸以滅之、

“ I will send four kinds of destroyers against them,” declares the Lord,“ the sword to kill and the dogs to drag away and the birds and the wild animals to devour and destroy.

“ I will punish them in four different ways: I will have war kill them. I will have dogs drag off their dead bodies. I will have birds and wild beasts devour and destroy their corpses.

我也要打发野地的走兽到你们中间，抢吃你们的儿女，吞灭你们的牲畜，使你们的人数减少，道路荒凉。

我待你们就要这样：我必命定惊惶，叫眼目干瘪、精神消耗的痨病热病辖制你们。你们也要白白地撒种，因为仇敌要吃你们所种的。

我又要使刀剑临到你们，报复你们背约的仇；聚集你们在各城内，降瘟疫在你们中间，也必将你们交在仇敌的手中。

论到耶洗别，耶和华也说：‘狗在耶斯列的外郭必吃耶洗别的肉。凡属亚哈的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鸟吃。’”

并且这百姓的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物，并无人哄赶。

主耶和华如此说：“我将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不更重吗？

我就观看，见有一匹灰色马；骑在马上的，名字叫作死，阴府也随着他；有权柄赐给他们，可以用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫、野兽，杀害地上四分之一的人。

都要撇给山间的鸷鸟和地上的野兽。夏天，鸷鸟要宿在其上；冬天，野兽都卧在其中。

我又看见一位天使站在日头中，向天空所飞的鸟大声喊着说：“你们聚集来赴神的大筵席，可以吃君王与将军的肉，壮士与马和骑马者的肉，并一切自主的为奴的，以及大小人民的肉。”

田野的诸兽都来吞吃吧！林中的诸兽也要如此。他看守的人是瞎眼的，都没有知识，都是哑巴狗，不能叫唤；但知做梦，躺卧，贪睡，

他们就去葬埋她，只寻得她的头骨和脚，并手掌。他们回去告诉耶户，耶户说：“这正应验耶和华藉他仆人提斯比人以利亚所说的话，说：‘在耶斯列田间，狗必吃耶洗别的肉；耶洗别的尸首必在耶斯列田间如同粪土，甚至人不能说这是耶洗别。’”
