我要命定四种刑罚对付他们，就是刀剑杀戮，尸体被野狗拖走，被空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽吞吃与毁灭。”这是耶和华的宣告。

耶和华说：“我命定四样害他们，就是刀剑杀戮、狗类撕裂、空中的飞鸟，和地上的野兽吞吃毁灭；

“我命定四样灾害临到他们，就是刀剑杀戮、群狗拖拉、空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽吞吃毁灭。这是耶和华说的。

“我要让他们遭受四种祸患——刀杀、狗撕、鸟啄、兽吞。这是耶和华说的。

“ I will send four kinds of destroyers against them,” declares the Lord,“ the sword to kill and the dogs to drag away and the birds and the wild animals to devour and destroy.

打发野地的走兽到你们中间，夺去你们的儿女，残害你们的牲畜，减少你们的人口，使你们的道路荒凉。

我就要这样待你们：我必命惊慌临到你们，痨病热病使你们眼目昏花，心灵憔悴；你们必徒然撒种，因为你们的仇敌必吃尽你们的出产。

使刀剑临到你们，报复背约的仇；聚集你们到城里，好使我打发瘟疫在你们中间，把你们交在仇敌的手里。

至于耶洗别，耶和华也说：‘狗必在耶斯列的地方吃耶洗别的肉。属亚哈的人，死在城里的，必被野狗吃掉；死在田野的，必被空中的飞鸟吃掉。’”

“这人民的尸体，也必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物，没有人来驱赶。

主耶和华这样说：“我打发刀剑、饥荒、猛兽和瘟疫这四样可怕的刑罚临到耶路撒冷，要把人和牲畜从那里剪除的时候，那情况岂不更严重吗？

我观看，见有一匹灰马；骑在马上的，名字叫作“死”。阴间也跟随着他。他们得了权柄可以管辖地上的四分之一，又要用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫和地上的野兽去杀人。

它们都要撇下，给山间的鸷鸟，和地上的野兽；鸷鸟必吃它们来度过夏天，地上的百兽必吃它们来度过冬天。

我又看见一位天使站在太阳中，向高空所有的飞鸟大声呼喊说：“你们来吧！齐集起来赴神的大筵席！可以吃君王的肉、将领的肉、壮士的肉，马和骑士的肉，以及自由的、作奴隶的、大的、小的，所有人的肉。”

田野的百兽啊！你们都来吃吧。林中的百兽啊！你们都要这样。他的守望者都是瞎眼的，都没有知识；他们都是哑巴狗，不能吠；只会作梦、躺卧，贪爱睡觉。

于是他们去收殓她，却找不到她的尸体，只找到头骨、双脚和双掌。他们就回去，告诉他，他说：“这正是耶和华藉着他仆人提斯比人以利亚所说的话：‘野狗必在耶斯列的地方吃耶洗别的肉。’耶洗别的尸体要像耶斯列田间的粪肥，以致人不能说：‘这是耶洗别。’”
