我沒有坐在宴樂人的會中，也沒有歡樂；我因你的感動獨自靜坐，因你使我滿心憤恨。

侮慢之人、我不樂與之坐、爾言降災、予懷歉仄、默然獨坐。

我未曾坐於嬉笑者之會、與之同樂、因蒙主之感而獨坐、使我愁煩盈懷、

I never sat in the company of revelers, never made merry with them; I sat alone because your hand was on me and you had filled me with indignation.

I never sat around with those who go to wild parties. I never had a good time with them. I sat alone because you had put your powerful hand on me. Your anger against sin was burning inside me.

I did not sit in the company of revelers, nor did I rejoice; I sat alone, because your hand was upon me, for you had filled me with indignation.

I never joined the people in their merry feasts. I sat alone because your hand was on me. I was filled with indignation at their sins.

不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐褻慢人的座位，

他當獨坐無言，因為這是耶和華加在他身上的。

我沒有和虛謊人同坐，也不與瞞哄人的同羣。我恨惡惡人的會，必不與惡人同坐。

又說：你們務要從他們中間出來，與他們分別；不要沾不潔淨的物，我就收納你們。

我警醒不睡；我像房頂上孤單的麻雀。

靈就進入我裏面，使我站起來。耶和華對我說：「你進房屋去，將門關上。人子啊，人必用繩索捆綁你，你就不能出去在他們中間來往。

你們若不聽這話，我必因你們的驕傲在暗地哭泣；我眼必痛哭流淚，因為耶和華的羣眾被擄去了。

因此我被耶和華的忿怒充滿，難以含忍。我要傾在街中的孩童和聚會的少年人身上，連夫帶妻，並年老的與日子滿足的都必被擒拿。

那事至此完畢。至於我－但以理，心中甚是驚惶，臉色也改變了，卻將那事存記在心。

你不可進入宴樂的家，與他們同坐吃喝。

我每逢講論的時候，就發出哀聲，我喊叫說：有強暴和毀滅！因為耶和華的話終日成了我的凌辱、譏刺。我若說：我不再提耶和華，也不再奉他的名講論，我便心裏覺得似乎有燒着的火閉塞在我骨中，我就含忍不住，不能自禁。

看哪，我今日立你在列邦列國之上，為要施行拔出、拆毀、毀壞、傾覆，又要建立、栽植。
