Lord, you understand; remember me and care for me. Avenge me on my persecutors. You are long- suffering— do not take me away; think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.

Lord, you understand how much I’m suffering. Show concern for me. Take care of me. Pay back those who are trying to harm me. You are patient. Don’t take my life away from me. Think about how much shame I suffer because of you.

O Lord, you know; remember me and visit me, and take vengeance for me on my persecutors. In your forbearance take me not away; know that for your sake I bear reproach.

Then I said,“ Lord, you know what’s happening to me. Please step in and help me. Punish my persecutors! Please give me time; don’t let me die young. It’s for your sake that I am suffering.

You know, LORD; remember me and take note of me. Avenge me against my persecutors. In your patience, don’t take me away. Know that I suffer disgrace for your honor.

You know, Lord; Remember me, take notice of me, And take vengeance for me on my persecutors. Do not, in view of Your patience, take me away; Know that for Your sake I endure reproach.

Yahweh, you know. Remember me, visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors. You are patient, so don’t take me away. Know that for your sake I have suffered reproach.

For I endure scorn for your sake, and shame covers my face.I am a foreigner to my own family, a stranger to my own mother’s children;for zeal for your house consumes me, and the insults of those who insult you fall on me. (niv)

Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you. Drag them off like sheep to be butchered! Set them apart for the day of slaughter! (niv)

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love. (niv)

Lord Almighty, you who examine the righteous and probe the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause. (niv)

I have not run away from being your shepherd; you know I have not desired the day of despair. What passes my lips is open before you. (niv)

Whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long. (niv)

Remember me with favor, my God, for all I have done for these people. (niv)

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. (niv)

How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors? (niv)

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? (niv)

Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing.I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying,“ Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.”But you, Lord Almighty, who judge righteously and test the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause.Therefore this is what the Lord says about the people of Anathoth who are threatening to kill you, saying,“ Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord or you will die by our hands”— (niv)

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. (niv)

You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. (niv)

Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them, (niv)

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.“ Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. (niv)

Everyone will hate you because of me. (niv)

Look away from me, that I may enjoy life again before I depart and am no more.” (niv)

“ Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.” (niv)

Lord my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands—if I have repaid my ally with evil or without cause have robbed my foe—then let my enemy pursue and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and make me sleep in the dust. (niv)

Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. (niv)

Alas, my mother, that you gave me birth, a man with whom the whole land strives and contends! I have neither lent nor borrowed, yet everyone curses me. (niv)

“ Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. (niv)

Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts. (niv)

Though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me, you will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed. (niv)

Remember Tobiah and Sanballat, my God, because of what they have done; remember also the prophet Noadiah and how she and the rest of the prophets have been trying to intimidate me. (niv)

So I said:“ Do not take me away, my God, in the midst of my days; your years go on through all generations. (niv)

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:“ It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. (niv)

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.“ Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (niv)

Help me, Lord my God; save me according to your unfailing love.Let them know that it is your hand, that you, Lord, have done it.While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.May my accusers be clothed with disgrace and wrapped in shame as in a cloak. (niv)
