Yahweh said,“ Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

耶和华说：“我必要坚固你，使你得好处。灾祸苦难临到的时候，我必要使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必定释放你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必定释放你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必拯救你，我必使仇敌在灾祸、困难来临时哀求你。

耶和华说：“我必为你的好处释放你；在遭遇祸患和灾难的时候，我必叫你的仇敌恳求你。

耶和華說：「我必要堅固你，使你得好處。災禍苦難臨到的時候，我必要使仇敵央求你。（

耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。

耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。

耶和華說：「我必拯救你，我必使仇敵在災禍、困難來臨時哀求你。

耶和華說：“我必為你的好處釋放你；在遭遇禍患和災難的時候，我必叫你的仇敵懇求你。

永恆主啊，就這樣吧！我若沒有為他們的福利而懇求你，我若沒有在禍患和災難時為敵人向你祈求，就情願受咒罵！

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、使爾獲福、爾敵遇禍遭難時、必求於爾、○

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、雖罹災害、必使敵善待爾。

主曰、我必釋爾、我必釋爾又作我必使爾強健必使爾得福、在患難之時、在災害之日、必使敵人善待爾、

The Lord said,“ Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will make your enemies plead with you in times of disaster and times of distress.

The Lord said,“ Jeremiah, I will keep you safe for a good purpose. I will make your enemies ask you to pray for them. They will make their appeal to you when they are in great trouble.

The Lord said,“ Have I not set you free for their good? Have I not pleaded for you before the enemy in the time of trouble and in the time of distress?

The Lord replied,“ I will take care of you, Jeremiah. Your enemies will ask you to plead on their behalf in times of trouble and distress.

The LORD said: Haven’t I set you loose for your good? Haven’t I punished you in a time of trouble, in a time of distress with the enemy?

The Lord said,“ I will certainly set you free for purposes of good; I will certainly make the enemy plead with you In a time of disaster and a time of distress.

The Lord said:“ Surely it will be well with your remnant; Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you In the time of adversity and in the time of affliction.

Jehovah said, Verily I will strengthen thee for good; verily I will cause the enemy to make supplication unto thee in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

The Lord said: I will certainly set you free and care for you. I will certainly intercede for you in a time of trouble, in your time of distress, with the enemy.

The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee[ well] in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

The LORD said,“ Jerusalem, I will surely send you away for your own good. I will surely bring the enemy upon you in a time of trouble and distress.

When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh,“ thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.I will be found by you,” says Yahweh,“ and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says Yahweh. I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.”

Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn’t there.But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

He made them also to be pitied by all those who carried them captive.

Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,“ Pray now to Yahweh our God for us.”

and said to Jeremiah the prophet,“ Please let our supplication be presented before you, and pray for us to Yahweh your God, even for all this remnant; for we are left but a few of many, as your eyes see us;

Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.

Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon commanded Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard concerning Jeremiah, saying,“ Take him, and take care of him. Do him no harm; but do to him even as he tells you.”

“ Please inquire of Yahweh for us; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps Yahweh will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us.”

The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.

The captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said to him,“ Yahweh your God pronounced this evil on this place;and Yahweh has brought it, and done according as he spoke. Because you have sinned against Yahweh, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing has come on you.Now, behold, I release you today from the chains which are on your hand. If it seems good to you to come with me into Babylon, come, and I will take care of you; but if it seems bad to you to come with me into Babylon, don’t. Behold, all the land is before you. Where it seems good and right to you to go, there go.”Now while he had not yet gone back,“ Go back then,” he said,“ to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people; or go wherever it seems right to you to go.” So the captain of the guard gave him food and a present, and let him go.Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah, and lived with him among the people who were left in the land.
