The Lord said,“ Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will make your enemies plead with you in times of disaster and times of distress.

耶和华说：“我必要坚固你，使你得好处。灾祸苦难临到的时候，我必要使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必定释放你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必定释放你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必拯救你，我必使仇敌在灾祸、困难来临时哀求你。

耶和华说：“我必为你的好处释放你；在遭遇祸患和灾难的时候，我必叫你的仇敌恳求你。

耶和華說：「我必要堅固你，使你得好處。災禍苦難臨到的時候，我必要使仇敵央求你。（

耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。

耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。

耶和華說：「我必拯救你，我必使仇敵在災禍、困難來臨時哀求你。

耶和華說：“我必為你的好處釋放你；在遭遇禍患和災難的時候，我必叫你的仇敵懇求你。

永恆主啊，就這樣吧！我若沒有為他們的福利而懇求你，我若沒有在禍患和災難時為敵人向你祈求，就情願受咒罵！

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、使爾獲福、爾敵遇禍遭難時、必求於爾、○

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、雖罹災害、必使敵善待爾。

主曰、我必釋爾、我必釋爾又作我必使爾強健必使爾得福、在患難之時、在災害之日、必使敵人善待爾、

The Lord said,“ Jeremiah, I will keep you safe for a good purpose. I will make your enemies ask you to pray for them. They will make their appeal to you when they are in great trouble.

The Lord said,“ Have I not set you free for their good? Have I not pleaded for you before the enemy in the time of trouble and in the time of distress?

The Lord replied,“ I will take care of you, Jeremiah. Your enemies will ask you to plead on their behalf in times of trouble and distress.

The LORD said: Haven’t I set you loose for your good? Haven’t I punished you in a time of trouble, in a time of distress with the enemy?

The Lord said,“ I will certainly set you free for purposes of good; I will certainly make the enemy plead with you In a time of disaster and a time of distress.

The Lord said:“ Surely it will be well with your remnant; Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you In the time of adversity and in the time of affliction.

Jehovah said, Verily I will strengthen thee for good; verily I will cause the enemy to make supplication unto thee in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

The Lord said: I will certainly set you free and care for you. I will certainly intercede for you in a time of trouble, in your time of distress, with the enemy.

The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee[ well] in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

The LORD said,“ Jerusalem, I will surely send you away for your own good. I will surely bring the enemy upon you in a time of trouble and distress.

Yahweh said,“ Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,“ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.I will be found by you,” declares the Lord,“ and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord,“ and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret— it leads only to evil.For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.

He caused all who held them captive to show them mercy.

King Zedekiah, however, sent Jehukal son of Shelemiah with the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message:“ Please pray to the Lord our God for us.”

Jeremiah the prophet and said to him,“ Please hear our petition and pray to the Lord your God for this entire remnant. For as you now see, though we were once many, now only a few are left.

Although a wicked person who commits a hundred crimes may live a long time, I know that it will go better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.

Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had given these orders about Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard:“ Take him and look after him; don’t harm him but do for him whatever he asks.”

“ Inquire now of the Lord for us because Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon is attacking us. Perhaps the Lord will perform wonders for us as in times past so that he will withdraw from us.”

In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him.

When the commander of the guard found Jeremiah, he said to him,“ The Lord your God decreed this disaster for this place.And now the Lord has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because you people sinned against the Lord and did not obey him.But today I am freeing you from the chains on your wrists. Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you; but if you do not want to, then don’t come. Look, the whole country lies before you; go wherever you please.”However, before Jeremiah turned to go, Nebuzaradan added,“ Go back to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the towns of Judah, and live with him among the people, or go anywhere else you please.” Then the commander gave him provisions and a present and let him go.So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah and stayed with him among the people who were left behind in the land.
