The LORD said: Haven’t I set you loose for your good? Haven’t I punished you in a time of trouble, in a time of distress with the enemy?

耶和华说：“我必要坚固你，使你得好处。灾祸苦难临到的时候，我必要使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必定释放你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必定释放你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。

耶和华说：“我必拯救你，我必使仇敌在灾祸、困难来临时哀求你。

耶和华说：“我必为你的好处释放你；在遭遇祸患和灾难的时候，我必叫你的仇敌恳求你。

耶和華說：「我必要堅固你，使你得好處。災禍苦難臨到的時候，我必要使仇敵央求你。（

耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。

耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。

耶和華說：「我必拯救你，我必使仇敵在災禍、困難來臨時哀求你。

耶和華說：“我必為你的好處釋放你；在遭遇禍患和災難的時候，我必叫你的仇敵懇求你。

永恆主啊，就這樣吧！我若沒有為他們的福利而懇求你，我若沒有在禍患和災難時為敵人向你祈求，就情願受咒罵！

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、使爾獲福、爾敵遇禍遭難時、必求於爾、○

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、雖罹災害、必使敵善待爾。

主曰、我必釋爾、我必釋爾又作我必使爾強健必使爾得福、在患難之時、在災害之日、必使敵人善待爾、

The Lord said,“ Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will make your enemies plead with you in times of disaster and times of distress.

The Lord said,“ Jeremiah, I will keep you safe for a good purpose. I will make your enemies ask you to pray for them. They will make their appeal to you when they are in great trouble.

The Lord said,“ Have I not set you free for their good? Have I not pleaded for you before the enemy in the time of trouble and in the time of distress?

The Lord replied,“ I will take care of you, Jeremiah. Your enemies will ask you to plead on their behalf in times of trouble and distress.

The Lord said,“ I will certainly set you free for purposes of good; I will certainly make the enemy plead with you In a time of disaster and a time of distress.

The Lord said:“ Surely it will be well with your remnant; Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you In the time of adversity and in the time of affliction.

Jehovah said, Verily I will strengthen thee for good; verily I will cause the enemy to make supplication unto thee in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

The Lord said: I will certainly set you free and care for you. I will certainly intercede for you in a time of trouble, in your time of distress, with the enemy.

The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee[ well] in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

The LORD said,“ Jerusalem, I will surely send you away for your own good. I will surely bring the enemy upon you in a time of trouble and distress.

Yahweh said,“ Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

When a person’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

For I know the plans I have for you”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.I will be found by you”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and places where I banished you”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ I will restore you to the place from which I deported you.”

Trust in the LORD and do what is good; dwell in the land and live securely.Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act,making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday.Be silent before the LORD and wait expectantly for him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the person who carries out evil plans.Refrain from anger and give up your rage; do not be agitated— it can only bring harm.For evildoers will be destroyed, but those who put their hope in the LORD will inherit the land.A little while, and the wicked person will be no more; though you look for him, he will not be there.But the humble will inherit the land and will enjoy abundant prosperity.

He caused them to be pitied before all their captors.

Nevertheless, King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, requesting,“ Please pray to the LORD our God on our behalf!”

the prophet Jeremiah and said,“ May our petition come before you; pray to the LORD your God on our behalf, on behalf of this entire remnant( for few of us remain out of the many, as you can see with your own eyes),

Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, I also know that it will go well with God-fearing people, for they are reverent before him.

Speaking through Nebuzaradan, captain of the guards, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon gave orders concerning Jeremiah:“ Take him and look after him. Don’t do him any harm, but do for him whatever he says.”

“ Inquire of the LORD on our behalf, since King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon is making war against us. Perhaps the LORD will perform for us something like all his past wondrous works so that Nebuchadnezzar will withdraw from us.”

A king’s heart is like channeled water in the LORD’s hand: He directs it wherever he chooses.

The captain of the guards took Jeremiah and said to him,“ The LORD your God decreed this disaster on this place,and the LORD has fulfilled it. He has done just what he decreed. Because you people have sinned against the LORD and have not obeyed him, this thing has happened.Now pay attention: Today I am setting you free from the chains that were on your hands. If it pleases you to come with me to Babylon, come, and I will take care of you. But if it seems wrong to you to come with me to Babylon, go no farther. Look— the whole land is in front of you. Wherever it seems good and right for you to go, go there.”When Jeremiah had not yet turned to go, Nebuzaradan said to him,“ Return to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the cities of Judah, and stay with him among the people or go wherever it seems right for you to go.” So the captain of the guards gave him a ration and a gift and released him.Jeremiah therefore went to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah, and he stayed with him among the people who remained in the land.
