Then the Lord said to me:“ Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my heart would not go out to this people. Send them away from my presence! Let them go!

耶和华对我说：“虽有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不顾惜这百姓。你将他们从我眼前赶出，叫他们去吧！

耶和华对我说：“就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不会怜悯这些百姓。你把他们从我面前赶走吧！

耶和华对我说：“即使摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不会转向这人民。你把他们从我面前赶走，叫他们出去！

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你將他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們去吧！

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你把他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們出去吧！

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你把他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們出去吧！

耶和華對我說：「就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不會憐憫這些百姓。你把他們從我面前趕走吧！

耶和華對我說：“即使摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不會轉向這人民。你把他們從我面前趕走，叫他們出去！

永恆主對我說：『就使有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前來代求，我的心也不向着這人民。從我面前給打發走，叫他們出去！

耶和華諭我曰、雖摩西撒母耳立於我前、我心不眷顧斯民、其逐之離我前、而使之出、

耶和華告耶利米曰、雖摩西撒母耳代民祈禱、我必弗恤、當遐棄之、屏之遠往、

主諭我曰、雖摩西撒母耳立於我前、為斯民祈禱、我心不悅斯民、當驅逐之、離於我前而去、

Then the Lord said to me,“ Suppose Moses and Samuel were standing in front of me. Even then my heart would not feel sorry for these people. Send them away from me! Let them go!

Then the Lord said to me,“ Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go!

Then the Lord said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel stood before me pleading for these people, I wouldn’t help them. Away with them! Get them out of my sight!

Then the LORD said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel should stand before me, my compassions would not reach out to these people. Send them from my presence, and let them go.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before Me, My heart would not be with this people. Send them away from My presence and have them go!

Then the Lord said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind would not be favorable toward this people. Cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth.

Then said Jehovah unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

Then the Lord said to me:“ Even if Moses and Samuel should stand before Me, My compassions would not reach out to these people. Send them from My presence, and let them go.

Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me,[ yet] my mind[ could] not[ be] toward this people: cast[ them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel stood before me pleading for these people, I would not feel pity for them! Get them away from me! Tell them to go away!

Then Yahweh said to me,“ Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not turn toward this people. Cast them out of my sight, and let them go out!

Therefore the Lord rejected all the people of Israel; he afflicted them and gave them into the hands of plunderers, until he thrust them from his presence.

even if these three men— Noah, Daniel and Job— were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the Lord and he answered them.

I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’“ So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you.

So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them.

Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Do not pray for the well-being of this people.

As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.

Therefore, I will surely forget you and cast you out of my presence along with the city I gave to you and your ancestors.

as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.“ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments— sword and famine and wild beasts and plague— to kill its men and their animals!

It was because of the Lord’s anger that all this happened to Jerusalem and Judah, and in the end he thrust them from his presence. Now Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, Lord, are with these people and that you, Lord, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.If you put all these people to death, leaving none alive, the nations who have heard this report about you will say,‘ The Lord was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on oath, so he slaughtered them in the wilderness.’“ Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared:‘ The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now.”The Lord replied,“ I have forgiven them, as you asked.

“ Do not pray for this people or offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress.

Should good be repaid with evil? Yet they have dug a pit for me. Remember that I stood before you and spoke in their behalf to turn your wrath away from them.

But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God.“ Lord,” he said,“ why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?Why should the Egyptians say,‘ It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth’? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people.Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self:‘ I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.’”Then the Lord relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.

A king delights in a wise servant, but a shameful servant arouses his fury.

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.

My heart is with Israel’s princes, with the willing volunteers among the people. Praise the Lord!

Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord.

Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.

Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:‘ Jehonadab son of Rekab will never fail to have a descendant to serve me.’”
