Though our wrongdoings testify against us, Lord, act for the sake of Your name! Our apostasies have indeed been many, We have sinned against You.

耶和华啊，我们的罪孽虽然作见证告我们，还求你为你名的缘故行事。我们本是多次背道，得罪了你。

耶和华啊，虽然我们的罪孽控告我们，求你为你名的缘故行动吧！我们本是多次背道，得罪了你。

耶和华啊，虽然我们的罪控告我们，我们屡屡叛逆得罪你，求你为了自己的尊名而拯救我们。

“耶和华啊！即使我们的罪孽指证我们，还求你因你名的缘故施行拯救。我们实在多次背道，得罪了你。

耶和華啊，我們的罪孽雖然作見證告我們，還求你為你名的緣故行事。我們本是多次背道，得罪了你。

耶和華啊，雖然我們的罪孽控告我們，求你為你名的緣故行動吧！我們本是多次背道，得罪了你。

耶和華啊，雖然我們的罪控告我們，我們屢屢叛逆得罪你，求你為了自己的尊名而拯救我們。

“耶和華啊！即使我們的罪孽指證我們，還求你因你名的緣故施行拯救。我們實在多次背道，得罪了你。

『我們的罪孽雖作證告我們，永恆主啊，為你名的緣故行事吧！雖則我們多次轉離正道，犯罪得罪了你。

耶和華歟、我之愆尤雖證我惡、願爾緣爾名而施行、我屢悖逆、干罪於爾、

耶和華與、我罪戾孔多、爾鑒察之、雖屢背爾、願爾赦宥、彰爾仁慈。

主歟、我雖屢違背、獲罪於主、我之愆尤、彷彿控我、仍求主為主之名赦宥我、

Although our sins testify against us, do something, Lord, for the sake of your name. For we have often rebelled; we have sinned against you.

Lord, our sins are a witness against us. But do something for the honor of your name. We have often turned away from you. We’ve sinned against you.

“ Though our iniquities testify against us, act, O Lord, for your name’s sake; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against you.

The people say,“ Our wickedness has caught up with us, Lord, but help us for the sake of your own reputation. We have turned away from you and sinned against you again and again.

Though our iniquities testify against us, LORD, act for your name’s sake. Indeed, our rebellions are many; we have sinned against you.

O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, Do it for Your name’s sake; For our backslidings are many, We have sinned against You.

Though our iniquities testify against us, work thou for thy name’s sake, O Jehovah; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

Though our guilt testifies against us, Yahweh, act for Your name’s sake. Indeed, our rebellions are many; we have sinned against You.

O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou[ it] for thy name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

Then I said,“ O LORD, intervene for the honor of your name even though our sins speak out against us. Indeed, we have turned away from you many times. We have sinned against you.

Moreover, the pride of Israel testifies against him, And Israel and Ephraim stumble in their wrongdoing; Judah also has stumbled with them.

For the sake of Your name, Lord, Forgive my wrongdoing, for it is great.

Therefore a lion from the forest will kill them, A wolf of the deserts will destroy them, A leopard is watching their cities. Everyone who goes out of them will be torn in pieces, Because their wrongdoings are many, Their apostasies are numerous.

For our wrongful acts have multiplied before You, And our sins have testified against us; For our wrongful acts are with us, And we know our wrongdoings:

We know our wickedness, Lord, The wrongdoing of our fathers, for we have sinned against You.Do not despise us, for the sake of Your own name; Do not disgrace the throne of Your glory. Remember and do not annul Your covenant with us.

Your own wickedness will correct you, And your apostasies will punish you; Know therefore and see that it is evil and bitter For you to abandon the Lord your God, And the fear of Me is not in you,” declares the Lord God of armies.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.

Not to us, Lord, not to us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, because of Your truth.

Lord God of Israel, You are righteous, for we have been left an escaped remnant, as it is this day; behold, we are before You in our guilt, for no one can stand before You because of this.”

Though the pride of Israel testifies against him, Yet they have not returned to the Lord their God, Nor have they sought Him, despite all this.

My God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our pleas before You based on any merits of our own, but based on Your great compassion.Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and take action! For Your own sake, my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

Had I not feared the provocation by the enemy, That their adversaries would misjudge, That they would say,“ Our hand is triumphant, And the Lord has not performed all this.” ’

we have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.Moreover, we have not listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our leaders, our fathers, and all the people of the land.“ Righteousness belongs to You, Lord, but to us open shame, as it is this day— to the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and all Israel, those who are nearby and those who are far away in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of their unfaithful deeds which they have committed against You.Open shame belongs to us, Lord, to our kings, our leaders, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, because we have rebelled against Him;and we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His teachings which He set before us through His servants the prophets.Indeed, all Israel has violated Your Law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has gushed forth on us, along with the oath which is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.So He has confirmed His words which He had spoken against us and against our rulers who ruled us, to bring on us great disaster; for under the entire heaven there has not been done anything like what was done in Jerusalem.Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our wrongdoing and giving attention to Your truth.So the Lord has kept the disaster in store and brought it on us; for the Lord our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice.“ And now, Lord, our God, You who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and made a name for Yourself, as it is this day— we have sinned, we have been wicked.Lord, in accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now Your anger and Your wrath turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the wrongdoings of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become an object of taunting to all those around us.

For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear about it, and they will surround us and eliminate our name from the earth. And what will You do for Your great name?”

But I withdrew My hand and acted for the sake of My name, so that it would not be defiled in the sight of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

Then the Lord said to me in the days of King Josiah,“ Have you seen what faithless Israel did? She went up on every high hill and under every leafy tree, and she prostituted herself there.

and I said,“ My God, I am ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God, for our wrongful deeds have risen above our heads, and our guilt has grown even to the heavens.Since the days of our fathers to this day we have been in great guilt, and because of our wrongful deeds we, our kings, and our priests have been handed over to the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to open shame, as it is this day.

to the end that we who were the first to hope in the Christ would be to the praise of His glory.

However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.For our kings, our leaders, our priests, and our fathers have not kept Your Law Or paid attention to Your commandments and Your admonitions with which You have admonished them.

But I acted for the sake of My name, so that it would not be defiled before the eyes of the nations, before whose eyes I had brought them out.

Why are we sitting still? Assemble yourselves, and let’s go into the fortified cities And perish there, For the Lord our God has doomed us And given us poisoned water to drink, Because we have sinned against the Lord.
