Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and[ there is] no healing for us? we looked for peace, and[ there is] no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!

你是全然棄絕了猶大麼？你的心討厭了錫安麼？為甚麼你擊打了我們，以致我們無法醫治呢？我們指望着平安，好處卻不來；指望得醫治時，唉，反而受了驚嚇！

爾盡棄猶大乎、爾心厭惡錫安乎、奚為擊我、無術可療、我望平康、未得裨益、我期醫治、而受恐惶、

耶和華豈遺棄猶大、痛疾郇邑哉、奚擊我而不醫、我冀平康而有禍、望得醫而加傷。

主豈盡棄猶大乎、主心豈厭惡郇乎、何為擊我、使不能醫治、我望平康而反遭災禍、望得痊愈而反遇驚惶、

Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror.

Lord, have you completely turned your back on Judah? Do you hate the city of Zion? Why have you made us suffer? We can’t be healed. We hoped peace would come. But nothing good has happened to us. We hoped we would finally be healed. But all we got was terror.

Have you utterly rejected Judah? Does your soul loathe Zion? Why have you struck us down so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

Lord, have you completely rejected Judah? Do you really hate Jerusalem? Why have you wounded us past all hope of healing? We hoped for peace, but no peace came. We hoped for a time of healing, but found only terror.

Have you completely rejected Judah? Do you detest Zion? Why do you strike us with no hope of healing for us? We hoped for peace, but there was nothing good; for a time of healing, but there was only terror.

Have You completely rejected Judah? Or have You loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that we are beyond healing? We waited for peace, but nothing good came; And for a time of healing, but behold, terror!

Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but there was no good; And for the time of healing, and there was trouble.

Then I said,“ LORD, have you completely rejected the nation of Judah? Do you despise the city of Zion? Why have you struck us with such force that we are beyond recovery? We hope for peace, but nothing good has come of it. We hope for a time of relief from our troubles, but experience terror.

Have you utterly rejected Judah? Has your soul loathed Zion? Why have you struck us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold, dismay!

But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.

We looked for peace, but no good[ came; and] for a time of health, and behold trouble!

Reprobate silver shall[ men] call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

[ There is] none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.

When I looked for good, then evil came[ unto me]: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable,[ which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar,[ and as] waters[ that] fail?

Also Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

When God heard[ this], he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.

[ Is there] no balm in Gilead;[ is there] no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till[ there was] no remedy.

As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation[ that] could not save[ us].

What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach[ is] great like the sea: who can heal thee?

Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me,[ yet] my mind[ could] not[ be] toward this people: cast[ them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham,[ of] the tribe of Benjamin.God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to[ the image of] Baal.Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then[ is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if[ it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Cut off thine hair,[ O Jerusalem], and cast[ it] away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Why hast thou[ then] broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.

Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
