因此，耶和華這樣說：“關於那些借我名說預言的先知，我並沒有差遣他們，他們竟說：‘這地必不會有刀劍和饑荒。’那些先知必被刀劍和饑荒滅絕。

所以耶和华如此说：论到托我名说预言的那些先知，我并没有打发他们；他们还说这地不能有刀剑饥荒，其实那些先知必被刀剑饥荒灭绝。

所以耶和华如此说：‘论到托我名说预言的那些先知，我并未差遣他们；他们说这地不会有刀剑、饥荒，其实那些先知自己必被刀剑、饥荒灭绝。

我没有差派他们，他们却奉我的名说这地方必没有战争和饥荒。他们必死于战争和饥荒。这是耶和华说的。

我沒有差派他們，他們卻奉我的名說這地方必沒有戰爭和饑荒。他們必死於戰爭和饑荒。這是耶和華說的。

因此永恆主這麼說：論到那些冒我名來傳講的神言人，我沒有差遣他們，而他們還說「這地必不會遭遇刀劍和饑荒」的，那些神言人自己倒要被刀劍和饑荒滅絕呢。

故耶和華論託其名而預言之先知曰、我未遣之、彼曰、鋒刃饑饉、必不及於斯土、惟彼先知、必為鋒刃饑饉所滅、

今我頒詔、諭彼偽先知之事、彼未嘗奉我所遣、猶託我名而告民云、斯土必無鋒刃饑饉之虞、彼先知必以鋒刃饑饉殲滅之。

今主論彼先知如是云、彼託我名預言、我未嘗遣之、彼曰、斯地必無鋒刃饑饉之災、彼先知必因鋒刃饑饉而滅、

Therefore this is what the Lord says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying,‘ No sword or famine will touch this land.’ Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine.

So here is what I am saying about the prophets who are prophesying in my name. I did not send them. But they are saying,‘ No war or hunger will come to this land.’ Those same prophets will die because of war and hunger.

Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say,‘ Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I will punish these lying prophets, for they have spoken in my name even though I never sent them. They say that no war or famine will come, but they themselves will die by war and famine!

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, though I did not send them, and who say,‘ There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end.

Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who are prophesying in My name, although it was not I who sent them— yet they keep saying:‘ There will be no sword or famine in this land’— by sword and famine those prophets shall meet their end!

Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say,‘ sword and famine shall not be in this land’—‘ By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed!

Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, though I did not send them, and who say,‘ There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

I did not send those prophets, though they claim to be prophesying in my name. They may be saying,‘ No war or famine will happen in this land.’ But I, the LORD, say this about them:‘ War and starvation will kill those prophets.’

Therefore Yahweh says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, but I didn’t send them, yet they say,‘ Sword and famine will not be in this land.’ Those prophets will be consumed by sword and famine.

他們不信耶和華，說：“他不會作甚麼，災禍必不臨到我們，我們也不會看見刀劍和饑荒。先知不過是一陣風，主的道也不在他們裡面；他們所說的必臨到他們身上。”

他們必擔當自己的罪孽；求問的人的罪孽怎樣，先知的罪孽也必怎樣。

巴施戶珥啊！你和所有住在你家裡的人，都要被擄去；你和你所有的朋友，就是你向他們說假預言的，都要到巴比倫去，死在那裡，也葬在那裡。’”

“你們這所有被擄去的，就是我從耶路撒冷趕逐到巴比倫去的，要聽耶和華的話。“萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘論到冒我的名向你們說虛假預言的哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底家，我要把他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他要在你們眼前擊殺他們。

在耶路撒冷的先知中，我看見可怕的事。他們犯姦淫，行事虛假，堅固惡人的手，以致沒有人離棄惡行；在我看來，他們都像所多瑪人，耶路撒冷的居民也像蛾摩拉人一樣。”因此，論到這些先知，萬軍之耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必使他們吃苦堇，喝毒水，因為有不敬虔的風氣，從耶路撒冷的先知中散播出來，遍及全地。”

耶和華說：“他們行了可憎的事，本應覺得羞愧，可是他們一點羞愧都沒有，恬不知恥。因此他們必仆倒在倒下的人中間，我懲罰他們的時候，他們必倒下來。”

他們滿眼淫色，而且不住地犯罪。他們引誘心志不堅固的人。他們的心習慣了貪婪，是應當受咒詛的族類。他們離棄正路，走入歧途，跟從了比珥的兒子巴蘭的道路。這巴蘭貪愛不義的工價，他曾經因著自己的過犯受了責備：不能說話的驢，竟用人的聲音說出話來，制止了這先知的狂妄。這些人是無水的泉源，是暴風催逼的霧氣，有漆黑的幽暗為他們存留。

從前在人民中，曾有假先知出來；照樣，將來在你們中間，也必有假教師出現。他們偷偷把使人滅亡的異端引進來，甚至否認那曾經買贖他們的主，迅速地自取滅亡。許多人會隨從他們的淫行，因此真理的道，就因他們的緣故被人毀謗。他們因為有貪心，就用捏造的話，想在你們身上圖利；懲罰他們的，自古以來就沒有鬆懈；毀滅他們的，也不會打盹。

所以，耶和華這樣說：‘你妻子必在城中作妓女，你的兒女必倒在刀下；你的土地必被人量度瓜分，你自己必死在不潔之地；以色列必被擄，離開本國。’”

那獸被捉住了；連同在獸面前用奇事迷惑人，使他們接受獸的記號，並且拜獸像的那假先知，也一起被捉住了。他們兩個就活活地被拋在燒著硫磺的火湖裡去。

耶利米先知就對哈拿尼雅先知說：“哈拿尼雅啊！你要聽，耶和華並沒有差遣你，你竟使這人民信靠謊言。因此耶和華這樣說：‘看哪！我必使你離開人世；你今年一定死，因為你說了悖逆耶和華的話。’”這樣，在當年七月，哈拿尼雅先知就死了。

米該雅說：“你進密室躲藏的那一天，就必看見了。”

“你要寄信給所有被擄的人，說：‘論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅，耶和華這樣說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他竟使你們信靠謊言。所以耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必懲罰尼希蘭人示瑪雅和他的後代；他必不會有子孫住在這人民中間，也必不能看見我要為我的子民所作的美事，因為他說了悖逆耶和華的話。’”這是耶和華的宣告。
