Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility, and the deception of their own minds.

耶和华对我说：“那些先知托我的名说假预言，我并没有打发他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有对他们说话；他们向你们预言的，乃是虚假的异象和占卜，并虚无的事，以及本心的诡诈。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知奉我的名说假预言，我并没有差派他们，没有委任他们，也没有对他们说话。他们对你们说的预言是假异象，是占卜，是凭空捏造。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知借我的名说假预言；我并没有差遣他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有向他们说话。他们对你们所预言的，是虚假的异象、占卜的预兆、虚无的事，和他们自己心里的诡诈。”

耶和華對我說：“那些先知借我的名說假預言；我並沒有差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有向他們說話。他們對你們所預言的，是虛假的異象、占卜的預兆、虛無的事，和他們自己心裡的詭詐。”

於是永恆主對我說：『那些神言人是冒我名傳虛假為神言的；我並沒有差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話；他們向你們發神言狂的乃是虛假的異象、無用的占卜、和他們自己心裏的詭詐。

耶和華諭我曰、諸先知託我名而妄言、我未遣之、未命之、未諭之、彼之所傳、乃虛偽之啟示、無憑之卜筮、妄誕之言詞、己心之詭詐、

耶和華曰、維彼先知、託我之名、普傳妄誕、我未嘗遣之、亦未嘗降諭、彼所言者、虛偽之異象、無憑之卜筮、中心所思之幻境。

主諭我曰、彼諸先知、假託我名預言、我未嘗遣之、未嘗命之、未嘗諭之、彼以虛偽之默示、卜筮妄誕、及己心之詐譎、傳於爾曹以為預言、

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them. I have not even spoken to them. Everything they tell you about their visions or secret knowledge is a lie. They pretend to bring you messages from other gods. They try to get you to believe their own mistaken ideas.

And the Lord said to me:“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.

Then the Lord said,“ These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts.

But the LORD said to me,“ These prophets are prophesying a lie in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

And the Lord said to me,“ The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

Then Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake I unto them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their own heart.

But the Lord said to me,“ These prophets are prophesying a lie in My name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Those prophets are prophesying lies while claiming my authority! I did not send them. I did not commission them. I did not speak to them. They are prophesying to these people false visions, worthless predictions, and the delusions of their own mind.

Then Yahweh said to me,“ The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They prophesy to you a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.

They see deceit and lying divination, those who are saying,‘ The Lord declares,’ when the Lord has not sent them; yet they wait for the fulfillment of their word!Did you not see a false vision and tell a lying divination when you said,‘ The Lord declares,’ but it is not I who have spoken?” ’ ”

For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:‘ Do not let your prophets who are in your midst or your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to their interpretations of your dreams which you dream.For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them,’ declares the Lord.

For there will no longer be any false vision or deceptive divination within the house of Israel.

Your prophets have seen for you Worthless and deceptive visions; And they have not exposed your wrongdoing So as to restore you from captivity, But they have seen for you worthless and misleading pronouncements.

“ Send word to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has made you trust in a lie,”

Who say to the seers,“ You must not see visions”; And to the prophets,“ You must not prophesy the truth to us. Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions.Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, Stop speaking before us about the Holy One of Israel!”

I did not send these prophets, But they ran. I did not speak to them, But they prophesied.But if they had stood in My council, Then they would have announced My words to My people, And would have turned them back from their evil way And from the evil of their deeds.“ Am I a God who is near,” declares the Lord,“ And not a God far off?Can a person hide himself in hiding places So that I do not see him?” declares the Lord.“ Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.“ I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in My name, saying,‘ I had a dream, I had a dream!’How long? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, these prophets of the deceitfulness of their own heart,who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they report to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal?The prophet who has a dream may report his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word truthfully. What does straw have in common with grain?” declares the Lord.“ Is My word not like fire?” declares the Lord,“ and like a hammer which shatters a rock?Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the Lord,“ who steal My words from each other.Behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the Lord,“ who use their tongues and declare,‘ The Lord declares!’Behold, I am against those who have prophesied false dreams,” declares the Lord,“ and reported them and led My people astray by their lies and reckless boasting; yet I did not send them nor command them, nor do they provide this people the slightest benefit,” declares the Lord.

Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, saying,“ Is the Lord not in our midst? Catastrophe will not come upon us.”

And as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your soothsayers, or your sorcerers who talk to you, saying,“ You will not serve the king of Babylon.”For they are prophesying a lie to you in order to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you away and you will perish.

that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders,and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,

The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule on their own authority; And My people love it this way! But what will you do when the end comes?

Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: The committing of adultery and walking in deceit; And they strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one has turned back from his wickedness. All of them have become to Me like Sodom, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.Therefore this is what the Lord of armies says concerning the prophets:‘ Behold, I am going to feed them wormwood And make them drink poisonous water, For from the prophets of Jerusalem Ungodliness has spread into all the land.’ ”This is what the Lord of armies says:“ Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into futility; They tell a vision of their own imagination, Not from the mouth of the Lord.

while they see false visions for you, while they divine lies for you— to place you on the necks of the wicked who are killed, whose day has come, in the time of the punishment of the end.

So do not listen to the words of the prophets who talk to you, saying,‘ You will not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they are prophesying a lie to you;for I have not sent them,” declares the Lord,“ but they are prophesying falsely in My name, so that I will drive you away and that you will perish, you and the prophets who prophesy to you.”

The head is the elder and esteemed man, And the prophet who teaches falsehood is the tail.

And if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him,‘ You shall not live, because you have spoken falsely in the name of the Lord’; and his father and mother who gave birth to him shall pierce him through when he prophesies.

For the household idols speak deception, And the diviners see an illusion And tell deceitful dreams; They comfort in vain. Therefore the people wander like sheep, They are wretched because there is no shepherd.

Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah the prophet,“ Listen now, Hananiah: the Lord has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie.

“ Go and speak to Hananiah, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ You have broken the yokes of wood, but in their place you have made yokes of iron.”

therefore you women will no longer see deceitful visions or practice divination, and I will save My people from your hands. So you will know that I am the Lord.”

And where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying,‘ The king of Babylon will not come against you or against this land’?

by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,

‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and concerning Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying to you falsely in My name:“ Behold, I am going to hand them over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will kill them before your eyes.
