And the Lord said to me:“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.

耶和华对我说：“那些先知托我的名说假预言，我并没有打发他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有对他们说话；他们向你们预言的，乃是虚假的异象和占卜，并虚无的事，以及本心的诡诈。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知借我的名说假预言；我并没有差遣他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有向他们说话。他们对你们所预言的，是虚假的异象、占卜的预兆、虚无的事，和他们自己心里的诡诈。”

耶和華對我說：“那些先知借我的名說假預言；我並沒有差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有向他們說話。他們對你們所預言的，是虛假的異象、占卜的預兆、虛無的事，和他們自己心裡的詭詐。”

於是永恆主對我說：『那些神言人是冒我名傳虛假為神言的；我並沒有差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話；他們向你們發神言狂的乃是虛假的異象、無用的占卜、和他們自己心裏的詭詐。

耶和華諭我曰、諸先知託我名而妄言、我未遣之、未命之、未諭之、彼之所傳、乃虛偽之啟示、無憑之卜筮、妄誕之言詞、己心之詭詐、

耶和華曰、維彼先知、託我之名、普傳妄誕、我未嘗遣之、亦未嘗降諭、彼所言者、虛偽之異象、無憑之卜筮、中心所思之幻境。

主諭我曰、彼諸先知、假託我名預言、我未嘗遣之、未嘗命之、未嘗諭之、彼以虛偽之默示、卜筮妄誕、及己心之詐譎、傳於爾曹以為預言、

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them. I have not even spoken to them. Everything they tell you about their visions or secret knowledge is a lie. They pretend to bring you messages from other gods. They try to get you to believe their own mistaken ideas.

Then the Lord said,“ These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts.

But the LORD said to me,“ These prophets are prophesying a lie in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility, and the deception of their own minds.

And the Lord said to me,“ The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

Then Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake I unto them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their own heart.

But the Lord said to me,“ These prophets are prophesying a lie in My name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Those prophets are prophesying lies while claiming my authority! I did not send them. I did not commission them. I did not speak to them. They are prophesying to these people false visions, worthless predictions, and the delusions of their own mind.

Then Yahweh said to me,“ The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They prophesy to you a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.

They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say,‘ Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said,‘ Declares the Lord,’ although I have not spoken?”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream,for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you in my name; I did not send them, declares the Lord.

For there shall be no more any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.

Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading.

“ Send to all the exiles, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah of Nehelam: Because Shemaiah had prophesied to you when I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie,

who say to the seers,“ Do not see,” and to the prophets,“ Do not prophesy to us what is right; speak to us smooth things, prophesy illusions,leave the way, turn aside from the path, let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”

“ I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.But if they had stood in my council, then they would have proclaimed my words to my people, and they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds.“ Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying,‘ I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart,who think to make my people forget my name by their dreams that they tell one another, even as their fathers forgot my name for Baal?Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat? declares the Lord.Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who steal my words from one another.Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who use their tongues and declare,‘ declares the Lord.’Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when I did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the Lord.

Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say,“ Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”

So do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your fortune-tellers, or your sorcerers, who are saying to you,‘ You shall not serve the king of Babylon.’For it is a lie that they are prophesying to you, with the result that you will be removed far from your land, and I will drive you out, and you will perish.

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?

But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:“ Behold, I will feed them with bitter food and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.

while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies for you— to place you on the necks of the profane wicked, whose day has come, the time of their final punishment.

Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are saying to you,‘ You shall not serve the king of Babylon,’ for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you.I have not sent them, declares the Lord, but they are prophesying falsely in my name, with the result that I will drive you out and you will perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.”

the elder and honored man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail;

And if anyone again prophesies, his father and mother who bore him will say to him,‘ You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of the Lord.’ And his father and mother who bore him shall pierce him through when he prophesies.

For the household gods utter nonsense, and the diviners see lies; they tell false dreams and give empty consolation. Therefore the people wander like sheep; they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd.

And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah,“ Listen, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie.

“ Go, tell Hananiah,‘ Thus says the Lord: You have broken wooden bars, but you have made in their place bars of iron.

therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. And you shall know that I am the Lord.”

Where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying,‘ The king of Babylon will not come against you and against this land’?

through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared,

‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying a lie to you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them down before your eyes.
