斯時呼籲我、我弗應、切尋我、而弗得、

故我必以怒待之、我目不顧惜之、不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼於我耳、猶不聽之、

至時、彼將籲耶和華、而不之應、必因其所為之惡、掩面弗顧、

主耶和華曰、我以我之四重災、即鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、疫癘、降於耶路撒冷、絕其人畜、其害豈非尤甚乎、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我呼之、而彼不聽、彼呼我、我亦不聽、

皆遘厲疾而死、無人哀哭、不得瘞埋、將於地上、同乎糞土、見滅於鋒刃饑饉、其尸為飛鳥野獸所食、

亦必加以鋒刃、饑饉疫癘、迨其滅於我所錫彼、及其列祖之地、

轉耳不聽法律者、即其祈禱、亦為可憎、

耶和華曰、爾獻祭品眾多、與我何與、牡羊之燔祭、肥畜之脂膏、我已厭之、犢血羔血、與牡山羊之血、我不悅之、爾來覲我、踐我院宇、誰命之者、虛有之禮物、勿復獻之、馨香我所憎、月朔安息集會為可惡、作惡而守肅會、我不容之、爾之月朔節期、我心惡之、以為重負、倦於擔荷、爾舉手、我則掩目、爾多禱、我不俯聽、爾手盈以血也、

如彼詢爾曰、我當何往、則告之曰、耶和華云、當死者就死、當刃者就刃、當饑者就饑、當虜者就虜、耶和華曰、我定四者加之、刃以戮之、犬以裂之、飛鳥野獸噬而滅之、

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、以爾燔祭加於他祭、而食其肉、蓋我導爾列祖出埃及時、未嘗以燔祭及他祭命之、

彼曰、我禁食、爾不顧、我苦心、爾不知、何也、曰、爾禁食時、尚營己事、苛虐傭人、

散之於列邦、即彼與其祖所未識者、使鋒刃隨之、至於盡滅、○

惡者之祭、為耶和華所惡、正人之祈、為其所悅、

耶和華曰、厥後、我必以猶大王西底家、暨其臣僕庶民、凡在邑中、疫癘鋒刃饑饉之餘、悉付於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、與其諸敵、及索其命者之手、巴比倫王必擊之以刃、不惜之、不憐之、不加矜憫、○又當告斯民曰、耶和華云、我以生道死道、陳於爾前、凡居此邑者、必亡於鋒刃饑饉疫癘、惟出而歸圍爾之迦勒底人者、必得生存、獲其生命、如獲掠物、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我必使鋒刃饑饉疫癘臨之、俾若劣無花果、因惡而不可食、且以鋒刃饑饉疫癘逐之、播散於天下萬邦、在我驅其所至之國、受人呪詛、令人駭異、而被嗤笑侮辱、

爾民三分之一、必死於疫癘、亡於饑饉、在爾境內、三分之一、必隕於鋒刃、在爾四周、三分之一、我必散之四方、拔刃襲之、如是、我怒始盡、我忿方息、我心斯慰、我既洩忿於彼、必知我耶和華所言、因熱中而言之、我必使爾荒蕪、為四周列國所侮辱、經爾地者、咸目睹之、我發忿震怒、行鞫懲責於爾時、四周之國、以為可辱可譏、可戒可異、我耶和華言之矣、我將降饑饉之毒矢、以行翦滅、增益饑饉、絕爾所恃之糧、既降饑饉、亦遣暴獸、俾爾孤獨、疫癘流血經於爾邦、兵刃臨於爾身、我耶和華言之矣、

惡者之祭為可憎、況以惡意獻之乎、
