人若不听从律法，他的祷告也可憎。

耶和华说：“你们献上许多祭物，对我有什么用呢？我厌烦公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂肪，我不喜欢公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血。“你们来敬拜我的时候，谁要求你们带着这些来践踏我的院宇呢？不要再带毫无意义的祭物了。我憎恶你们烧的香，厌恶你们的朔日、安息日和大会。你们又作恶又举行庄严的聚会，令我无法容忍。我憎恶你们的朔日及其他节期，它们成了我的重担，令我厌倦。你们举手祷告，我必掩面不理。即使你们祷告再多，我也不会听，因为你们双手沾满鲜血。

如果他们问你，‘我们该去哪里，’你就告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘该死的死，该被杀的被杀，该遭饥荒的遭饥荒，该被掳的被掳。’“我要让他们遭受四种祸患——刀杀、狗撕、鸟啄、兽吞。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华憎恨恶人的祭物，悦纳正直人的祈祷。

然后，我要把犹大王西底迦及其臣仆以及城中逃过瘟疫、战争和饥荒的人都交给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒等仇敌，使他们落在想杀灭他们的人手中。巴比伦王必残酷无情地杀戮他们。这是耶和华说的。’“耶利米啊，你要告诉百姓，‘耶和华说，看啊，我把生命之路和死亡之路摆在你们面前，留在这城里的必死于战争、饥荒和瘟疫，出城向迦勒底人投降的必保全性命、逃过一死。

你们三分之一的人要死于饥荒瘟疫，三分之一的人要死于刀下，我必把其余的三分之一分散到各地各方，并拔刀追杀他们。这样，我对你们的怒气才会发完，我才会息怒。我把烈怒倾倒在你们身上的时候，你们就会知道我耶和华的话是出于痛恨不贞。我必使你们的家园在周围的列国中，在路人眼前成为荒凉之地，使你们饱受羞辱。当我在气愤和烈怒中严厉地审判你们时，你们在各国必受羞辱和嘲讽，成为警戒，下场可怕。这是我耶和华说的。我要向你们射出饥荒的毒箭，破坏和毁灭你们，并且使饥荒越来越严重，断绝你们的粮源。我必让饥荒和猛兽来侵害你们，夺走你们的儿女，使你们饱受瘟疫、暴行和刀剑之灾，这是我耶和华说的。”

恶人的祭物已经可憎，何况他怀着恶意来献！
