其上可以取木料做什么工用，可以取来做钉子挂什么器皿吗？看哪，已经抛在火中当作柴烧，火既烧了两头，中间也被烧了，还有益于工用吗？完全的时候尚且不合乎什么工用，何况被火烧坏，还能合乎什么工用吗？”

约书亚穿着污秽的衣服站在使者面前。使者吩咐站在面前的说：“你们要脱去他污秽的衣服”；又对约书亚说：“我使你脱离罪孽，要给你穿上华美的衣服。”

这恶民不肯听我的话，按自己顽梗的心而行，随从别神，侍奉敬拜，他们也必像这腰带变为无用。”

他从前与你没有益处，但如今与你我都有益处。
