Say to the king and to the queen mother,“ Humble yourselves; Sit down, For your rule shall collapse, the crown of your glory.”

“你要对君王和太后说：你们当自卑，坐在下边；因你们的头巾，就是你们的华冠，已经脱落了。

你要对君王和太后说：“你们当自卑，坐下；因你们的王冠，就是你们华美的冠冕已经掉落了。”

你要对君王和太后说：“你们当自卑，坐下；因你们的王冠，就是你们华美的冠冕已经掉落了。”

耶和华让我对君王和太后说：“从宝座上下来吧，因为你们头上华美的王冠将要掉落。”

你要对君王和太后说：“你们应从宝座下来，因为华丽的冠冕已经从你们的头上脱下来了。”

你要對君王和太后說：你們當自卑，坐在下邊；因你們的頭巾，就是你們的華冠，已經脫落了。

你要對君王和太后說：「你們當自卑，坐下；因你們的王冠，就是你們華美的冠冕已經掉落了。」

耶和華讓我對君王和太后說：「從寶座上下來吧，因為你們頭上華美的王冠將要掉落。」

你要對君王和太后說：“你們應從寶座下來，因為華麗的冠冕已經從你們的頭上脫下來了。”

你們要對王和太后說：『要自己謙卑，坐在下邊，因為你們美麗的華冠已從你們頭上脫落下來了。

爾其告王與太后曰、宜自卑而下坐、蓋爾頭巾、即爾華冕墜矣、

當告王與后云、卑以自牧、退居下位、蓋上帝必使爾棄其冕旒、減其容光。

當告王與后曰、爾當自卑而坐於下、爾榮美之冕、必自爾首而墮、

Say to the king and to the queen mother,“ Come down from your thrones, for your glorious crowns will fall from your heads.”

Speak to the king and his mother. Tell them,“ Come down from your thrones. Your glorious crowns are about to fall from your heads.”

Say to the king and the queen mother:“ Take a lowly seat, for your beautiful crown has come down from your head.”

Say to the king and his mother,“ Come down from your thrones and sit in the dust, for your glorious crowns will soon be snatched from your heads.”

Say to the king and the queen mother: Take a humble seat, for your glorious crowns have fallen from your heads.

Say to the king and the queen mother,“ Take a lowly seat, For your beautiful crown Has come down from your head.”

Say thou unto the king and to the queen- mother, Humble yourselves, sit down; for your headtires are come down, even the crown of your glory.

Say to the king and the queen mother: Take a humble seat, for your glorious crowns have fallen from your heads.

Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down,[ even] the crown of your glory.

The LORD told me,“ Tell the king and the queen mother,‘ Surrender your thrones, for your glorious crowns will be removed from your heads.

Say to the king and to the queen mother,“ Humble yourselves. Sit down, for your crowns have come down, even the crown of your glory.

Then Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his servants, his princes, and his officers went out to the king of Babylon; and the king of Babylon, in the eighth year of his reign, took him prisoner.

So I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country where you were not born; and there you shall die.

And he carried Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. The king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officers, and the mighty of the land he carried into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

Also his prayer and how God received his entreaty, and all his sin and trespass, and the sites where he built high places and set up wooden images and carved images, before he was humbled, indeed they are written among the sayings of Hozai.

Her gates shall lament and mourn, And she being desolate shall sit on the ground.

So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him,“ Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews:‘ How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

The elders of the daughter of Zion Sit on the ground and keep silence; They throw dust on their heads And gird themselves with sackcloth. The virgins of Jerusalem Bow their heads to the ground.

“ Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called Tender and delicate.

Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

and say:‘ What is your mother? A lioness: She lay down among the lions; Among the young lions she nourished her cubs.She brought up one of her cubs, And he became a young lion; He learned to catch prey, And he devoured men.The nations also heard of him; He was trapped in their pit, And they brought him with chains to the land of Egypt.‘ When she saw that she waited, that her hope was lost, She took another of her cubs and made him a young lion.He roved among the lions, And became a young lion; He learned to catch prey; He devoured men.He knew their desolate places, And laid waste their cities; The land with its fullness was desolated By the noise of his roaring.Then the nations set against him from the provinces on every side, And spread their net over him; He was trapped in their pit.They put him in a cage with chains, And brought him to the king of Babylon; They brought him in nets, That his voice should no longer be heard on the mountains of Israel.‘ Your mother was like a vine in your bloodline, Planted by the waters, Fruitful and full of branches Because of many waters.She had strong branches for scepters of rulers. She towered in stature above the thick branches, And was seen in her height amid the dense foliage.But she was plucked up in fury, She was cast down to the ground, And the east wind dried her fruit. Her strong branches were broken and withered; The fire consumed them.And now she is planted in the wilderness, In a dry and thirsty land.Fire has come out from a rod of her branches And devoured her fruit, So that she has no strong branch— a scepter for ruling.’” This is a lamentation, and has become a lamentation.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
