斯土悲哀、四境草木枯槁、伊於胡底、因其居民行惡、禽獸盡滅、眾猶自謂、我之終局、彼必不及見之、○

人居斯土、作惡無厭、自謂上帝不加彰癉、故邦國愁慘。土產槁枯、禽獸死亡、伊於何底。

斯地哀慘、田野之草枯槁、將至何時、緣斯地居民之惡、走獸飛禽盡滅、彼猶自言曰、我終局若何、彼耶利米必不得見、

How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying,“ He will not see what happens to us.”

How long will the land be thirsty for water? How long will the grass in every field be dry? The people who live in the land are evil. So the animals and birds have died. And that’s not all. The people are saying,“ The Lord won’t see what happens to us.”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? For the evil of those who dwell in it the beasts and the birds are swept away, because they said,“ He will not see our latter end.”

How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said,“ The Lord doesn’t see what’s ahead for us!”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

How long is the land to mourn, And the vegetation of the countryside to dry up? Due to the wickedness of those who live in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because people have said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? for the wickedness of them that dwell therein, the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our latter end.

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

How long must the land be parched and the grass in every field be withered? How long must the animals and the birds die because of the wickedness of the people who live in this land? For these people boast,“ God will not see what happens to us.”

How long will the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? Because of the wickedness of those who dwell therein, the animals and birds are consumed; because they said,“ He won’t see our latter end.”

我要為山嶺哭泣悲哀，為曠野的草場揚聲哀號；因為都已枯焦，甚至無人經過。牲畜的鳴叫聽不見，空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸也都逃離。

我觀看，看哪，無人；空中的飛鳥也都躲避。

因此，這地悲哀，其上的居民、野地的走獸、天空的飛鳥都日趨衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。

我們知道，一切受造之物一同呻吟，一同忍受陣痛，直到如今。

全地滿了犯姦淫的人！因妄自賭咒，地就悲哀，曠野的草場都枯乾了。他們所行的道是惡的；他們的權力用得不對。

使肥沃之地變為荒蕪的鹽地，都因當地居民的邪惡。

所以主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣和憤怒傾倒在這地方的人和牲畜身上、田野的樹木和地裏的出產上，它必燃燒，不會熄滅。」

就是先知說假預言，祭司把權柄抓在自己手上，我的百姓也喜愛這樣，到了結局你們要怎麼辦呢？

田荒涼，地悲哀；因為五穀毀壞，新酒枯竭，新的油也缺乏。農夫啊，你們要慚愧；修整葡萄園的啊，你們要哀號；因為大麥、小麥與田間的莊稼全都毀了。葡萄樹枯乾，無花果樹衰殘，石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，田野一切的樹木都枯乾；眾人的喜樂盡都消逝。祭司啊，當束上麻布痛哭；事奉祭壇的啊，要哀號；事奉我上帝的啊，你們要來，披上麻布過夜，因為在你們上帝的殿中不再有素祭和澆酒祭了。你們要使禁食的日子分別為聖，宣告嚴肅會，召集長老和這地所有的居民來到耶和華－你們上帝的殿，向耶和華哀求。哀哉，這日子！因為耶和華的日子臨近，好像毀滅從全能者來到。糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜快樂不是從我們上帝的殿中止息了嗎？種子在土塊下朽爛，倉荒涼，廩破壞，因為五穀枯乾了。

雖然無花果樹不發旺，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹也不收成，田地不出糧食，圈中絕了羊，棚內也沒有牛；

先知不過是一陣風，道也不在他們裏面；這災禍必臨到他們身上。」

你做了這些事，我閉口不言，你想我正如你一樣；其實我要責備你，將這些事擺在你眼前。

因此，地要悲哀，天上也必黑暗；因為我言已出，我意已定，必不改變，也不由此轉回。」

「你，人子啊，主耶和華對以色列地如此說：結局，結局臨到了地的四境！現在你的結局已經來臨；我要使我的怒氣臨到你，也要按你的行為審判你，照你所做一切可憎的事懲罰你。我的眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，卻要按你所做的報應你，照你們中間可憎的事懲罰你；你就知道我是耶和華。「主耶和華如此說：災難，惟一的災難，看哪，臨近了！結局到了，結局到了，它要醒起來攻擊你。看哪，它已來到！境內的居民哪，厄運臨到你；時候到了，日子近了，有鬧鬨，但不是山上歡呼的聲音。我快要將我的憤怒傾倒在你身上，向你發盡我的怒氣，按你的行為審判你，照你所做一切可憎的事懲罰你。我的眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，必按你所做的報應你，照你中間可憎的事懲罰你；你就知道擊打你的是我－耶和華。「看哪，那日子！看哪，已來到！厄運已經發生！杖已開花，驕傲已發芽。殘暴興起，成了罰惡的杖。他們將一無所有，他們的富足、他們的財寶都不復存在；他們中間也不再有尊榮。時候到了，日子近了，買主不可歡喜，賣主也不用愁煩，因為烈怒已經臨到他們眾人身上。賣主即使存活，也不能討回所賣的，因為這異象關乎他們眾人；誰都不能討回，也沒有人能在罪孽中使自己的生命剛強。」

「猶大悲哀，城門衰敗；眾人坐在地上哀慟，耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。
