斯土悲哀、四境草木枯槁、伊於胡底、因其居民行惡、禽獸盡滅、眾猶自謂、我之終局、彼必不及見之、○

人居斯土、作惡無厭、自謂上帝不加彰癉、故邦國愁慘。土產槁枯、禽獸死亡、伊於何底。

斯地哀慘、田野之草枯槁、將至何時、緣斯地居民之惡、走獸飛禽盡滅、彼猶自言曰、我終局若何、彼耶利米必不得見、

How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying,“ He will not see what happens to us.”

How long will the land be thirsty for water? How long will the grass in every field be dry? The people who live in the land are evil. So the animals and birds have died. And that’s not all. The people are saying,“ The Lord won’t see what happens to us.”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? For the evil of those who dwell in it the beasts and the birds are swept away, because they said,“ He will not see our latter end.”

How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said,“ The Lord doesn’t see what’s ahead for us!”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

How long is the land to mourn, And the vegetation of the countryside to dry up? Due to the wickedness of those who live in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because people have said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? for the wickedness of them that dwell therein, the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our latter end.

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

How long must the land be parched and the grass in every field be withered? How long must the animals and the birds die because of the wickedness of the people who live in this land? For these people boast,“ God will not see what happens to us.”

How long will the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? Because of the wickedness of those who dwell therein, the animals and birds are consumed; because they said,“ He won’t see our latter end.”

我要為山嶺哭泣悲哀，為曠野的草場揚聲哀號；因為都已乾焦，甚至無人經過。人也聽不見牲畜鳴叫，空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸都已逃去。

我觀看，不料，無人；空中的飛鳥也都躲避。

因此，這地悲哀，其上的民、田野的獸、空中的鳥必都衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。

我們知道，一切受造之物一同歎息，勞苦，直到如今。

地滿了行淫的人！因妄自賭咒，地就悲哀；曠野的草場都枯乾了。他們所行的道乃是惡的；他們的勇力使得不正。

使肥地變為鹼地；這都因其間居民的罪惡。

所以主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣和忿怒傾在這地方的人和牲畜身上，並田野的樹木和地裏的出產上，必如火着起，不能熄滅。」

就是先知說假預言，祭司藉他們把持權柄；我的百姓也喜愛這些事，到了結局你們怎樣行呢？

田荒涼，地悲哀；因為五穀毀壞，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。農夫啊，你們要慚愧；修理葡萄園的啊，你們要哀號；因為大麥小麥與田間的莊稼都滅絕了。葡萄樹枯乾；無花果樹衰殘。石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，連田野一切的樹木也都枯乾；眾人的喜樂盡都消滅。祭司啊，你們當腰束麻布痛哭；伺候祭壇的啊，你們要哀號；事奉我神的啊，你們要來披上麻布過夜，因為素祭和奠祭從你們神的殿中斷絕了。你們要分定禁食的日子，宣告嚴肅會，招聚長老和國中的一切居民到耶和華－你們神的殿，向耶和華哀求。哀哉！耶和華的日子臨近了。這日來到，好像毀滅從全能者來到。糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜快樂不是從我們神的殿中止息了嗎？穀種在土塊下朽爛；倉也荒涼，廩也破壞；因為五穀枯乾了。

雖然無花果樹不發旺，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹也不效力，田地不出糧食，圈中絕了羊，棚內也沒有牛；

先知的話必成為風；道也不在他們裏面。這災必臨到他們身上。

你行了這些事，我還閉口不言，你想我恰和你一樣；其實我要責備你，將這些事擺在你眼前。

因此，地要悲哀，在上的天也必黑暗；因為我言已出，我意已定，必不後悔，也不轉意不做。

「人子啊，主耶和華對以色列地如此說：結局到了，結局到了地的四境！現在你的結局已經臨到，我必使我的怒氣歸與你，也必按你的行為審判你，照你一切可憎的事刑罰你。我眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，卻要按你所行的報應你，照你中間可憎的事刑罰你。你就知道我是耶和華。「主耶和華如此說：有一災，獨有一災；看哪，臨近了！結局來了，結局來了，向你興起。看哪，來到了！境內的居民哪，所定的災臨到你，時候到了，日子近了，乃是鬨嚷並非在山上歡呼的日子。我快要將我的忿怒傾在你身上，向你成就我怒中所定的，按你的行為審判你，照你一切可憎的事刑罰你。我眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，必按你所行的報應你，照你中間可憎的事刑罰你。你就知道擊打你的是我耶和華。「看哪，看哪，日子快到了；所定的災已經發出！杖已經開花，驕傲已經發芽。強暴興起，成了罰惡的杖。以色列人，或是他們的羣眾，或是他們的財寶，無一存留；他們中間也沒有得尊榮的。時候到了，日子近了，買主不可歡喜，賣主不可愁煩，因為烈怒已經臨到他們眾人身上。賣主雖然存活，卻不能歸回再得所賣的，因為這異象關乎他們眾人。誰都不得歸回，也沒有人在他的罪孽中堅立自己。」

猶大悲哀，城門衰敗。眾人披上黑衣坐在地上；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。
