But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

耶和華與、爾鑒察予、知予中心信從、惟彼作惡者流、爾其牽之、若羊置於死地。

惟主知我、見我、鑒察我心向主若何、惟彼惡人、願主集之若羊將宰、區別之、以俟殺戮之日、

Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you. Drag them off like sheep to be butchered! Set them apart for the day of slaughter!

Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited[ me] in the night; thou hast tried me,[ and] shalt find nothing; I am purposed[ that] my mouth shall not transgress.

Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

But he knoweth the way that I take:[ when] he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD;[ therefore] I shall not slide.

Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.

Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known[ me].Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted[ with] all my ways.For[ there is] not a word in my tongue,[ but], lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their[ blood] by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and[ be] widows; and let their men be put to death;[ let] their young men[ be] slain by the sword in battle.Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay[ me]: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal[ thus] with them in the time of thine anger.

I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

But I[ was] like a lamb[ or] an ox[ that] is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me,[ saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

Moab is spoiled, and gone up[ out of] her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name[ is] the LORD of hosts.

But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous,[ and] seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and[ they that are] thrust through in her streets.

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon,[ son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
