And if they learn well the ways of my people and swear by my name, saying,‘ As surely as the Lord lives’— even as they once taught my people to swear by Baal— then they will be established among my people..

Suppose those nations learn to follow the practices of my people. And they make their promises in my name. When they promise, they say,‘ You can be sure that the Lord is alive.’ They do this just as they once taught my people to make promises in Baal’s name. Then I will give them a place among my people.

And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name,‘ As the Lord lives,’ even as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they shall be built up in the midst of my people.

And if these nations truly learn the ways of my people, and if they learn to swear by my name, saying,‘ As surely as the Lord lives’( just as they taught my people to swear by the name of Baal), then they will be given a place among my people.

Then, if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name,‘ As the Lord lives,’ just as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people.

And it shall be, if they will learn carefully the ways of My people, to swear by My name,‘ As the Lord lives,’ as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they shall be established in the midst of My people.

And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, As Jehovah liveth; even as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built up in the midst of my people.

If they will diligently learn the ways of My people— to swear by My name,‘ As Yahweh lives,’ just as they taught My people to swear by Baal— they will be built up among My people.

And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

But they must make sure you learn to follow the religious practices of my people. Once they taught my people to swear their oaths using the name of the god Baal. But then, they must swear oaths using my name, saying,“ As surely as the LORD lives, I swear.” If they do these things, then they will be included among the people I call my own.

It will happen, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name,‘ As Yahweh lives;’ even as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then they will be built up in the middle of my people.

then you can swear,“ As the LORD lives,” in truth, justice, and righteousness, and then the nations will be blessed by him and will boast in him.

those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the stars in the sky; those who bow and pledge loyalty to the LORD but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;

and so that you do not associate with these nations remaining among you. Do not call on the names of their gods or make an oath to them; do not serve them or bow in worship to them.

So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household,built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.

I will give them, in my house and within my walls, a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters. I will give each of them an everlasting name that will never be cut off.As for the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to become his servants— all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold firmly to my covenant—

he says,“ It is not enough for you to be my servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make you a light for the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.”

For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

By myself I have sworn; truth has gone from my mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow to me, every tongue will swear allegiance.

At that time Jerusalem will be called The LORD’s Throne, and all the nations will be gathered to it, to the name of the LORD in Jerusalem. They will cease to follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts.

For wickedness burns like a fire that consumes thorns and briers and kindles the forest thickets so that they go up in a column of smoke.The land is scorched by the wrath of the LORD of Armies, and the people are like fuel for the fire. No one has compassion on his brother.They carve meat on the right, but they are still hungry; they have eaten on the left, but they are still not satisfied. Each one eats the flesh of his arm.Manasseh eats Ephraim, and Ephraim, Manasseh; together, both are against Judah. In all this, his anger has not turned away, and his hand is still raised to strike.

but mingled with the nations and adopted their ways.They served their idols, which became a snare to them.

“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.

Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them and have come to share in the rich root of the cultivated olive tree,

You are to fear the LORD your God and worship him. Remain faithful to him and take oaths in his name.He is your praise and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awe-inspiring works your eyes have seen.

On that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. Assyria will go to Egypt, Egypt to Assyria, and Egypt will worship with Assyria.On that day Israel will form a triple alliance with Egypt and Assyria— a blessing within the land.The LORD of Armies will bless them, saying,“ Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance are blessed.”

If you do not know, most beautiful of women, follow the tracks of the flock, and pasture your young goats near the shepherds’ tents.

For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.

As you come to him, a living stone— rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.For it stands in Scripture: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and honored cornerstone, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.

When they say,“ As the LORD lives,” they are swearing falsely.

Whoever asks for a blessing in the land will ask for a blessing by the God of truth, and whoever swears in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my sight.
