殘賊者陟曠野之荒邱、耶和華之刃吞噬斯土、自此至彼、凡有血氣者、罔獲綏安、

曠野童山、寇賊已至、遍於四境、民罹鋒刃、被吞噬、不享綏安、我使之然。

行毀者已至曠野諸童山、自國此極至國彼極、主之刃遍行殺戮、凡有血氣者、不得綏安、

Over all the barren heights in the desert destroyers will swarm, for the sword of the Lord will devour from one end of the land to the other; no one will be safe.

Many will come to destroy it. They will gather on the bare hilltops in the desert. I will use them as my sword to destroy my people. They will kill them from one end of the land to the other. No one will be safe.

Upon all the bare heights in the desert destroyers have come, for the sword of the Lord devours from one end of the land to the other; no flesh has peace.

On all the bare hilltops, destroying armies can be seen. The sword of the Lord devours people from one end of the nation to the other. No one will escape!

耶和華的刀劍哪，你到幾時才止息呢？你要入鞘，安靖不動。

雖被仇敵擄去，我必命刀劍殺戮他們；我必向他們定住眼目，降禍不降福。

耶和華的刀滿了血，用脂油和羊羔、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腰子的脂油滋潤的；因為耶和華在波斯拉有獻祭的事，在以東地大行殺戮。

或者我使刀劍臨到那地，說：刀劍哪，要經過那地，以致我將人與牲畜從其中剪除；

我要把你們散在列邦中；我也要拔刀追趕你們。你們的地要成為荒場；你們的城邑要變為荒涼。

圍困城的日子滿了，你要將三分之一在城中用火焚燒，將三分之一在城的四圍用刀砍碎，將三分之一任風吹散；我也要拔刀追趕。

在他衣服和大腿上有名寫着說：「萬王之王，萬主之主。」我又看見一位天使站在日頭中，向天空所飛的鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴神的大筵席，可以吃君王與將軍的肉，壯士與馬和騎馬者的肉，並一切自主的為奴的，以及大小人民的肉。」我看見那獸和地上的君王，並他們的眾軍都聚集，要與騎白馬的並他的軍兵爭戰。那獸被擒拿；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑受獸印記和拜獸像之人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活活地被扔在燒着硫磺的火湖裏；其餘的被騎白馬者口中出來的劍殺了；飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

我的神說：惡人必不得平安！

因為聽見哀聲出於錫安，說：我們怎樣敗落了！我們大大地慚愧！我們撇下地土；人也拆毀了我們的房屋。婦女們哪，你們當聽耶和華的話，領受他口中的言語；又當教導你們的兒女舉哀，各人教導鄰舍唱哀歌。因為死亡上來，進了我們的窗戶，入了我們的宮殿；要從外邊剪除孩童，從街上剪除少年人。

那時，必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說：「有一陣熱風從曠野淨光的高處向我的眾民颳來，不是為簸揚，也不是為揚淨。必有一陣更大的風從這些地方為我颳來；現在我又必發出判語，攻擊他們。」看哪，仇敵必如雲上來；他的戰車如旋風，他的馬匹比鷹更快。我們有禍了！我們敗落了！耶路撒冷啊，你當洗去心中的惡，使你可以得救。惡念存在你心裏要到幾時呢？有聲音從但傳揚，從以法蓮山報禍患。

摩押不再被稱讚。有人在希實本設計謀害她，說：來吧！我們將她剪除，不再成國。瑪得緬哪，你也必默默無聲；刀劍必追趕你。

就另有一匹馬出來，是紅的，有權柄給了那騎馬的，可以從地上奪去太平，使人彼此相殺；又有一把大刀賜給他。

因為那時必有大災難，從世界的起頭直到如今，沒有這樣的災難，後來也必沒有。若不減少那日子，凡有血氣的總沒有一個得救的；只是為選民，那日子必減少了。

看哪，耶和華必在火中降臨；他的車輦像旋風，以烈怒施行報應，以火焰施行責罰；因為耶和華在一切有血氣的人身上，必以火與刀施行審判；被耶和華所殺的必多。

古實人哪，你們必被我的刀所殺。

你向淨光的高處舉目觀看，你在何處沒有淫行呢？你坐在道旁等候，好像阿拉伯人在曠野埋伏一樣，並且你的淫行邪惡玷污了全地。

所以耶和華如此說：你們沒有聽從我，各人向弟兄鄰舍宣告自由。看哪！我向你們宣告一樣自由，就是使你們自由於刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫之下，並且使你們在天下萬國中拋來拋去。這是耶和華說的。

他們問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你便告訴他們，耶和華如此說：定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必交刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。」
