人謀害我、我昔不知、譬彼羔羊、其性柔順、將就死地、人曰、當滅其生命、若伐木剝果、使名不存。

其時我若柔順之羔羊、被牽至死地、我尚不知其謀害我、曰、盍滅之、如伐樹而毀其果、絕之於有生者之地、使其名不復記念、

I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying,“ Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.”

I had been like a gentle lamb led off to be killed. I didn’t realize they had made plans against me. They had said,“ Let’s destroy the tree and its fruit. Let’s take away his life. Then his name won’t be remembered anymore.”

I did not know they were saying,“ Let’s destroy the tree along with its fruit! Let’s remove Jeremiah from the world of the living so people will not even be reminded of him any more.”

For I heard many mocking:“ Fear on every side!”“ Report,” they say,“ and we will report it!” All my acquaintances watched for my stumbling, saying,“ Perhaps he can be induced; Then we will prevail against him, And we will take our revenge on him.”

They have said,“ Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

Then they said,“ Come and let us devise plans against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come and let us attack him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.”

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.

Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed.Again he sent another servant; and they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed.And again he sent a third; and they wounded him also and cast him out.“ Then the owner of the vineyard said,‘ What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Probably they will respect him when they see him.’But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying,‘ This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him.The Lord will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.

God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,and plotted to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him.

Let his posterity be cut off, And in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

I will walk before the Lord In the land of the living.

Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice.

from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;

For I hear the slander of many; Fear is on every side; While they take counsel together against me, They scheme to take away my life.

I cried out to You, O Lord: I said,“ You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.

The memory of the righteous is blessed, But the name of the wicked will rot.

But in my adversity they rejoiced And gathered together; Attackers gathered against me, And I did not know it; They tore at me and did not cease;

Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.

Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks,

I said,“ I shall not see YAH, The Lord in the land of the living; I shall observe man no more among the inhabitants of the world.

“ And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
