Yahweh gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it. Then you showed me their doings.

耶和华指示我，我就知道；你将他们所行的给我指明。

耶和华指示我，我才知道；你将他们所做的给我指明。

有人想谋害我，耶和华告诉了我，并让我看见他们的所作所为。

耶和华把他们的阴谋指示我，我就知道了；那时，你把他们所行的给我指明。

有人想謀害我，耶和華告訴了我，並讓我看見他們的所作所為。

永恆主指點我知，我就知道；那時你將他們所行的指給我看。

彼之所為、耶和華示我、我悉知之、

耶利米曰、民謀害予、乃蒙耶和華默示、俾我灼知、

先知曰、彼所欲為、主已示我、主既示我、則我悉知、

Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing.

The Lord told me about the evil plans of my enemies. That’s how I knew about them. He showed me what they were doing.

The Lord made it known to me and I knew; then you showed me their deeds.

Then the Lord told me about the plots my enemies were making against me.

The LORD informed me, so I knew. Then you helped me to see their deeds,

Moreover, the Lord made it known to me and I knew it; Then You showed me their deeds.

Now the Lord gave me knowledge of it, and I know it; for You showed me their doings.

And Jehovah gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it: then thou showedst me their doings.

The Lord informed me, so I knew. Then You helped me to see their deeds,

And the LORD hath given me knowledge[ of it], and I know[ it]: then thou shewedst me their doings.

The LORD gave me knowledge, that I might have understanding. Then he showed me what the people were doing.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? Yahweh, the God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant.” Yahweh said,“ He will come down.”Then David said,“ Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” Yahweh said,“ They will deliver you up.”

The man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying,“ Beware that you not pass this place; for the Syrians are coming down there.”The king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of; and he saved himself there, not once or twice.

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you will again see yet other great abominations.”He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, dig now in the wall.” When I had dug in the wall, I saw a door.He said to me,“ Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.”So I went in and looked, and saw every form of creeping things, abominable animals, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed around on the wall.Seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel stood before them. In the middle of them Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan stood, every man with his censer in his hand; and the smell of the cloud of incense went up.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say,‘ Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’”He said also to me,“ You will again see more of the great abominations which they do.”Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yahweh’s house which was toward the north; and I saw the women sit there weeping for Tammuz.Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, son of man? You will again see yet greater abominations than these.”He brought me into the inner court of Yahweh’s house; and I saw at the door of Yahweh’s temple, between the porch and the altar, there were about twenty- five men, with their backs toward Yahweh’s temple, and their faces toward the east. They were worshiping the sun toward the east.Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Behold, they put the branch to their nose.Therefore I will also deal in wrath. My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. Though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not hear them.”

For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?

Therefore he sent horses, chariots, and a great army there. They came by night, and surrounded the city.When the servant of the man of God had risen early, and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. His servant said to him,“ Alas, my master! What shall we do?”He answered,“ Don’t be afraid; for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”Elisha prayed, and said,“ Yahweh, please open his eyes, that he may see.” Yahweh opened the young man’s eyes; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to Yahweh, and said,“ Please strike this people with blindness.” He struck them with blindness according to Elishah’s word.Elisha said to them,“ This is not the way, neither is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” He led them to Samaria.When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said,“ Yahweh, open these men’s eyes, that they may see.” Yahweh opened their eyes, and they saw; and behold, they were in the middle of Samaria.

But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter. I didn’t know that they had devised plans against me, saying,“ Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, and let’s cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.”

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say,‘ The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
