Moreover, the Lord made it known to me and I knew it; Then You showed me their deeds.

耶和华指示我，我就知道；你将他们所行的给我指明。

Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing.

The Lord told me about the evil plans of my enemies. That’s how I knew about them. He showed me what they were doing.

The Lord made it known to me and I knew; then you showed me their deeds.

Then the Lord told me about the plots my enemies were making against me.

The LORD informed me, so I knew. Then you helped me to see their deeds,

Now the Lord gave me knowledge of it, and I know it; for You showed me their doings.

And Jehovah gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it: then thou showedst me their doings.

The LORD gave me knowledge, that I might have understanding. Then he showed me what the people were doing.

Will the citizens of Keilah hand me over to him? Will Saul come down just as Your servant has heard? Lord God of Israel, please, tell Your servant.” And the Lord said,“ He will come down.”Then David said,“ Will the citizens of Keilah hand me and my men over to Saul?” And the Lord said,“ They will hand you over.”

But the man of God sent word to the king of Israel, saying,“ Be careful that you do not pass this place, because the Arameans are coming down there.”And the king of Israel sent scouts to the place about which the man of God had told him; so he warned him, so that he was on his guard there, more than once or twice.

And He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Israel are committing here, so that I would be far from My sanctuary? But yet you will see still greater abominations!”Then He brought me to the entrance of the courtyard, and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall.And He said to me,“ Son of man, now dig through the wall.” So I dug through the wall, and behold, an entrance.Then He said to me,“ Go in and see the wicked abominations that they are committing here.”So I entered and looked, and behold, every form of crawling things and animals and detestable things, with all the idols of the house of Israel, were carved on the wall all around.And standing in front of them were seventy elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan standing among them, each man with his censer in his hand; and the fragrance of the cloud of incense was rising.Then He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each man in the rooms of his carved images? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has abandoned the land.’ ”And He said to me,“ Yet you will see still greater abominations which they are committing!”Then He brought me to the entrance of the gate of the Lord’s house which was toward the north; and behold, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.And He said to me,“ Do you see this, son of man? Yet you will see still greater abominations than these!”Then He brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’s house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty five men with their backs to the temple of the Lord while their faces were toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.And He said to me,“ Do you see this, son of man? Is it a trivial thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they have committed here, that they have filled the land with violence and provoked Me to anger repeatedly? Yet behold, they are putting the twig to their nose!Therefore, I indeed will deal in wrath. My eye will have no pity nor will I spare; and though they cry out in My ears with a loud voice, yet I will not listen to them.”

But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?

So he sent horses and chariots and a substantial army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city.Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him,“ This is hopeless, my master! What are we to do?”And he said,“ Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are greater than those who are with them.”Then Elisha prayed and said,“ Lord, please, open his eyes so that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord and said,“ Please strike this people with blindness.” So He struck them with blindness in accordance with the word of Elisha.Then Elisha said to them,“ This is not the way, nor is this the city; follow me and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” And he brought them to Samaria.When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said,“ Lord, open the eyes of these men, so that they may see.” So the Lord opened their eyes, and they saw; and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.

But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; And I did not know that they had devised plots against me, saying,“ Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, And let’s cut him off from the land of the living, So that his name will no longer be remembered.”

And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say,‘ The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them on immediately.”
