我萬有之主耶和華、昔培植爾、今降爾以災、蓋以色列族猶大家、焚香崇事巴力、干我震怒。

The Lord Almighty, who planted you, has decreed disaster for you, because the people of both Israel and Judah have done evil and aroused my anger by burning incense to Baal.

The Lord who rules over all planted you. But now he has ordered your enemies to destroy you. The people of Israel and Judah have both done what is evil. They have made the Lord very angry by burning incense to Baal.

The Lord of hosts, who planted you, has decreed disaster against you, because of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done, provoking me to anger by making offerings to Baal.”

“ I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, who planted this olive tree, have ordered it destroyed. For the people of Israel and Judah have done evil, arousing my anger by burning incense to Baal.”

“ The LORD of Armies who planted you has decreed disaster against you, because of the disaster the house of Israel and the house of Judah brought on themselves when they angered me by burning incense to Baal.”

The Lord of armies, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you because of the evil of the house of Israel and the house of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me by offering sacrifices to Baal.

“ For the Lord of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced doom against you for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke Me to anger in offering incense to Baal.”

For Jehovah of hosts, who planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have wrought for themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense unto Baal.

“ The Lord of Hosts who planted you has decreed disaster against you, because of the harm the house of Israel and the house of Judah brought on themselves, provoking Me to anger by burning incense to Baal.”

For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

For though I, the LORD who rules over all, planted you in the land, I now decree that disaster will come on you because the nations of Israel and Judah have done evil and have made me angry by offering sacrifices to the god Baal.”

For Yahweh of Armies, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal.

他把園子的泥土挖鬆了，撿去石頭，栽種了上好的葡萄樹；在園中建造了一座守望樓，又鑿了一個榨酒池。他期望結出好葡萄，卻結出野葡萄。

我栽你時原是上等的葡萄樹，是絕對純種的；你怎麼在我面前變為壞枝子，成了野葡萄呢？

你栽種了他們，他們也扎了根，並且長大，結出果實；他們的口中有你，心裡卻沒有你（“他們的口中有你，心裡卻沒有你”原文作“你與他們的口很接近，卻離他們的心很遠”）。

“萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘看哪！我必使我宣告攻擊這城的一切災禍，臨到這城和她附近的一切城鎮，因為他們硬著頸項，不聽從我的話。’”

因此耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必使災禍臨到他們身上，是他們不能逃脫的；他們雖然向我哀求，我必不聽他們。

護衛長把耶利米提出來，對他說：“耶和華你的神曾說要降這災禍在這地方；

猶大王希西家和猶大眾人可曾把他處死呢？希西家不是敬畏耶和華，求他開恩，以致耶和華回心轉意，沒有把他所說的災禍降在他們身上嗎？但我們現在竟自招大禍。”

“你向這人民傳講這一切時，如果他們問你：‘耶和華為甚麼宣告這一切嚴重的災禍對付我們呢？我們有甚麼罪孽？我們犯了甚麼罪，得罪了耶和華我們的神呢？’你就要回答他們：‘因為你們的列祖離棄了我（這是耶和華的宣告），他們隨從別的神，事奉敬拜他們；他們離棄了我，不遵守我的律法。

你們怎可偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、起假誓、向巴力燒香，跟從你們素不認識的別神，

我要為我的子民以色列選定一個地方，栽培他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再受騷擾；惡人也不能再像以前那樣苦待他們，

如果我論到的那一邦轉離他們的惡行，我就必回心轉意，不把我原定的災禍降給他們。

現在，你們要改善你們所行所作的，聽從耶和華你們的神的話，耶和華就必回心轉意，不把所說的災禍降給你們。

為錫安悲哀的人穿上裝飾，賜給他們華冠代替灰塵，喜樂油代替悲哀，讚美衣代替沮喪的靈，他們必稱為公義的橡樹，是耶和華栽種的，好使他自己得著榮耀。

耶和華對耶利米說：“你要這樣對他說：‘耶和華這樣說：看哪！我所建立的，我必拆毀；我所栽種的，我必拔除。我必這樣對待全地。

因此，耶和華萬軍的神、以色列的神這樣說：‘看哪！我必使我對他們預告過的一切災禍，臨到猶大人和耶路撒冷所有的居民，因為我對他們說話，他們卻不聽從；我呼喚他們，他們卻不回應。’”

我必關注他們，眷顧他們，領他們歸回這地。我必建立他們，必不拆毀；我必栽植他們，必不拔除。

你從埃及帶走一棵葡萄樹，你趕出外族人，把這樹栽上。

眷顧你右手栽種的根，和你為自己培育的兒子。

也許他們會向耶和華懇求，各人回轉，離開自己的惡道，因為耶和華向這人民所說要發的怒氣和烈怒是很大的。”

牠又把以色列地的種子取去，栽種在肥沃的地土、水流的旁邊，好像栽種柳樹一樣；

‘你們若決意住在這地，我就建立你們，必不拆毀；栽植你們，必不拔除；因我為那已經降在你們身上的災禍回心轉意。

你曾親手把列國趕出去，卻栽培了我們的列祖；你曾苦待眾民，卻使我們的列祖昌盛。
