謂摩西曰、爾必返本、斯民既詣斯土、必遺棄我、背我所立之約、狥己私欲、從異邦人之上帝。

毋濟祖惡、如祖悖逆、其心不正、其志不立、以事上帝兮。勿效以法蓮支派、備兵戈、執弓矢、臨戰而披靡兮、不守上帝之約、不遵其律例兮、

迨乎士師既沒、以色列族喪其心術、較之前人尤甚、從他上帝而伏拜之、強項不馴、弗改其非。

主耶和華又曰、爾爽盟約、予必因爾所行以報之。

乃民不聽從、狥欲從他上帝、而伏拜之、其祖在昔惟耶和華命是遵、及至斯民違道甚速。

導其祖出埃及之上帝耶和華、反背之、四周民之上帝、則尊崇伏拜之、以是干耶和華震怒。蓋背耶和華事巴力亞大綠、

掃羅違我、不遵我命、昔立之為王、今則悔焉。撒母耳甚憂、終夜禱耶和華。

當彼在曠野時、我告其子孫曰、勿效列祖之尤、勿從其所行、勿拜其所崇之偶像、自致污衊、我乃耶和華、爾之上帝、當遵我禮儀、從我法度、守我安息日、可為爾我間作徵、俾知我乃耶和華、爾之上帝。子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

彼爽約若亞當、居處斯土、違逆乎我、

及其兆民、祭司利未人、由尊逮卑、王入耶和華殿、誦殿中所得之約書、俾民咸聞、王立於臺上、與耶和華約、一心一意、宗事耶和華、守其禁令、法度禮儀、遵約書所載、使耶路撒冷民、便雅憫族、無不聽從、咸遵列祖上帝之約。以色列地四方所臣服之列邦、奉可惡之物、約西亞廢之、教民奉事其上帝耶和華、故其在位之時、民恆事不輟。

爾之前事、當憶弗忘、爾在曠野、干爾上帝耶和華震怒、自出埃及之日、越至於此、違逆耶和華。

此約、與我援其祖出埃及時所立之約異、彼不恆守我舊約、我檳之弗顧、

悖逆耶和華不祈求我者、必戮之而後已、

爾強項塞心充耳之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦若是、孰有先知而爾祖不窘逐者乎、昔爾祖殺預言義者將至之人、今義者至、爾即解而誅之、

維彼濟惡、屢行叛逆、無異列祖、如弦絶弓反兮、

昔以色列族之上帝耶和華、導民出埃及、脫於法老之手、厥後以色列族獲罪於耶和華寅畏他上帝。耶和華驅逐異邦人、所遺之禮儀、民從之、以色列列王所擅立之禮儀、民亦從之、私行非義於其上帝耶和華前、自戍樓以至邑垣、悉建崇坵、高岡之巔茂林之下、立諸偶像、從耶和華所驅之異邦人、在諸崇坵、焚香行諸惡事、干耶和華震怒、犯耶和華禁、役事偶像。耶和華遣其先知先見者、責以色列猶大二族、曰、當棄惡行、守我禁令禮儀、從我所命諸先知、傳爾列祖之律例、斯民弗聽、強項不馴、不信其上帝耶和華、與列祖無異。昔上帝與列祖立約、斯民背之、棄其所命、違其禮儀、崇事虛無、亦為放誕、四周之異邦人、耶和華曾命、勿效其尤、彼不聽從、反崇信焉、棄其上帝耶和華之命、鑄二金犢、樹立木偶、崇拜天象、奉事巴力、焚獻子女、專用卜筮、維惡是務、干耶和華震怒。故耶和華怒以色列族、驅於其前、靡有孑遺、所餘者惟猶大族而已。猶大族亦不守其上帝耶和華之誡命、從以色列族所擅立之禮儀。耶和華棄以色列族苗裔、降以禍災、為人所虜、驅於其前、

彼異邦人身心不潔、爾導之入我聖所、以玷我室、爾雖獻餅餌血膋、亦作不端、背我盟約、

蔑我禮儀侮我法度、干我誡命、違我盟約、

爾勿效祖所為、古先知告之曰、萬有之主耶和華云、棄惡勿作、彼不聽從、

昔我佑厥祖導出埃及、與之立約為彼所爽、我擯之弗顧、今復立約、必不若是。

彼所歸誠者、非至上之主、如弦絕弓反、口出妄言、諸牧伯亡於鋒刃、為埃及人姍笑。又曰、民爽我約、干我律例、爾當吹角告眾、敵王將至、如鷹速飛、攻我耶和華殿。

主曰、以法蓮猶大、我將何如視爾、爾之敬虔、有若朝雲、立見其散、有若晨露、立見其晞、
