My tent is destroyed; all its ropes are snapped. My children are gone from me and are no more; no one is left now to pitch my tent or to set up my shelter.

Jerusalem is like a tent that has been destroyed. All its ropes have snapped. My people have gone away from me. Now no one is left to set up my tent. I have no one to set up my shelter.

My tent is destroyed, and all my cords are broken; my children have gone from me, and they are not; there is no one to spread my tent again and to set up my curtains.

My home is gone, and no one is left to help me rebuild it. My children have been taken away, and I will never see them again.

恶讯频传，山河破碎，我的帐篷忽然倒塌，幔子顷刻破裂。

耶和华说：“在拉玛有痛哭哀号的声音，是拉结在为儿女哀痛，不肯接受安慰，因为他们都死了。”

要扩大你的帐篷，尽量拉宽帐篷的幔子，放长绳子，钉牢橛子。

注视我的眼睛将再也看不见我，你将寻找我，而我已不复存在。

敌人做了她的主人，兴旺发达。因为她作恶多端，耶和华叫她饱受困苦，她的孩子被敌人掳去。

恶人覆灭不复存在，义人的家屹立不倒。

我把我的话传给你，用我的手庇护你。我铺展穹苍，奠立大地的根基，对锡安说，‘你是我的子民。’”

祂抬起右手张弓搭箭，宛若仇敌，杀戮一切悦人眼目的人，将祂的怒火撒向锡安城的帐篷。主像敌人一样毁灭以色列，吞噬她的宫殿，夷平她的堡垒，使犹大人哀哭不止。祂摧毁自己的居所，如同摧毁花园；祂摧毁自己规定的聚会之处，使锡安的人民忘记安息日和节期。祂在烈怒中弃绝所有的君王和祭司。

你流亡期间所生的子女必在你耳边说，‘这地方太小了，再给我们一些地方住吧。’你会在心里问，‘我丧失了儿女、不再生育、流亡在外、漂流不定，谁给我生了这些儿女？谁把他们养大？我孤身一人，他们是从哪里来的？’”主耶和华说：“我必向列国招手，向万民竖立我的旗帜，他们必抱着你的儿子、背着你的女儿回来。
