「你曾進入雪之庫，或見過雹的倉嗎？

「誰為大雨分道，誰為雷電開路，使雨降在無人之地，在無人居住的曠野，使荒廢淒涼之地得以豐足，青草得以生長？

因他吸取水點，水點就從雲霧中變成雨；雲彩將雨落下，沛然降於世人。又有誰能明白密雲如何鋪張，和神行宮的雷聲呢？看哪，他的亮光普照自己的四圍；他覆蓋海的深處。因他用這些審判眾民，又賜豐富的糧食。他以閃電遮手掌，命令它擊中靶子。所發的雷聲將他顯明，牲畜也指明要起暴風。」

聽啊，聽他轟轟的聲音，是神口中所發的響聲。他發響聲震遍天下，他的閃電直到地極。隨後，人聽見他的聲音，是那轟轟的聲音；他發出威嚴的雷聲，而不加以遏止。神發出奇妙的雷聲；他行大事，我們不能測透。

耶和華的聲音在眾水上，榮耀的神打雷；耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力，耶和華的聲音滿有威嚴。耶和華的聲音震碎香柏樹，耶和華震碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩跳躍如牛犢，使西連跳躍如野牛犢。耶和華的聲音使火焰分岔。耶和華的聲音震動曠野，耶和華震動加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿落胎，樹林也脫落淨光。凡在他殿中的，都述說他的榮耀。耶和華坐在洪水之上為王；耶和華坐着為王，直到永遠。

他用密雲遮天，為地預備雨水，使草生長在山上。

以利亞對亞哈說：「你現在可以上去吃喝，因為有暴雨的響聲了。」

霎時間，天因風雲黑暗，降下大雨。亞哈就坐上車，往耶斯列去了。耶和華的手按在以利亞身上，他就束上腰，奔在亞哈前頭，一路到耶斯列。

摩西向天伸杖，耶和華就打雷下雹，有火降到地上；耶和華下雹在埃及地上。

春雨的季節，你們要向耶和華求雨。耶和華發出雷電，為眾人降下大雨，把田園的菜蔬賜給人。

就是那駕行在亙古的諸天之上的主！聽啊，他發出聲音，是極大的聲音。

耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，就有冰雹和火炭。

這不是割麥子的時候嗎？我求告耶和華，他必打雷降雨，讓你們知道並且看出，你們為自己求立王的事在耶和華眼前是犯大罪了。」於是撒母耳求告耶和華，耶和華就在這日打雷降雨，眾百姓就非常懼怕耶和華和撒母耳。

有耳卻不能聽，口中也沒有氣息。
