你曾入過雪庫，或見過雹倉嗎？

誰為大雨分水道，誰為雷電定道路？使雨降在無人之地，落在無人居住的曠野，使荒廢之地得著滋潤，使青草在乾旱之地得以長起來呢？

他吸收滴滴水點，使水滴在雲霧中化成雨，雲層傾下雨水，沛然降在世人身上。誰能明白雲彩的展開，和神行宮的雷聲呢？他在自己的周圍展開電光，又用水遮蓋海底；他用這些審斷萬人，又賜予豐盛的糧食；他以電光遮蓋雙手，然後吩咐電光去攻擊目標，他以雷聲宣揚自己，甚至牲畜也注意將有甚麼臨近。”

你們當細聽他轟轟的聲音，他口中發出隆隆的雷聲。他發雷聲響遍天下，也發電光閃到地極。接著雷聲霹靂，神以自己威嚴之聲打雷，人聽到雷聲的時候，神並沒有留住風霜雨雲（“風霜雨雲”直譯是“它們”）。神以奇妙的方法打雷，他行大事，我們不能了解。

耶和華的聲音在眾水之上，榮耀的神打雷，耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力，耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷了香柏樹，耶和華震斷了黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩山跳躍像牛犢，使西連山跳躍像野牛犢。耶和華的聲音帶著火燄劈下。耶和華的聲音震撼曠野，耶和華震撼加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿生產，使林中的樹木光禿凋零；凡是在他殿中的都說：“榮耀啊！”耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王直到永遠。

他以密雲遮蓋天空，為大地預備雨水，使群山長滿青草。

以利亞對亞哈說：“你上去吃喝吧！因為已經有下大雨的響聲了。”

霎時之間，天空因風雲而變為黑暗，隨著降下大雨來。於是亞哈坐上了車，往耶斯列去了。耶和華的能力臨到以利亞的身上，以利亞就束上腰，跑在亞哈的前頭，直跑到耶斯列的城門口。

摩西把手杖向天一伸，耶和華就打雷（“打雷”原文作“神的聲音”）下雹，有火落在地上；耶和華使冰雹降在埃及地上。

在春雨的季節，你們要向耶和華求雨。耶和華閃發雷電，給人降雨，使各人的田地生長蔬菜。

歌頌那乘駕在自古就有的眾天之上的主；看哪！他發出了強而有力的聲音。

耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，發出冰雹和火炭。

現今不是收割麥子的時候嗎？我要向耶和華呼求，他就會打雷降雨，你們就可以知道，又可以看見，你們為自己要求立王的事，在耶和華看來，是行了極大的惡事。”於是撒母耳向耶和華呼求，耶和華就在那天打雷降雨，眾民就非常懼怕耶和華和撒母耳。

有耳卻不能聽，口中也沒有氣息。
