But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

But God used his power to make the earth. His wisdom set the world in place. His understanding spread out the heavens.

It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

起初，神創造天地。

他獨自鋪張蒼天，步行在海浪之上。

神坐在地球大圈之上；地上的居民好像蝗蟲。他鋪張穹蒼如幔子，展開諸天如可住的帳棚。

耶和華用能力創造大地，用智慧建立世界，用聰明鋪張穹蒼。他一發聲，空中便有多水激動；他使雲霧從地極上騰。他造電隨雨而閃，從他府庫中帶出風來。各人都成了畜類，毫無知識。各銀匠都因他的偶像羞愧；他所鑄的偶像本是虛假的，其中並無氣息，都是虛無的，是迷惑人的工作，到追討的時候，必被除滅。雅各的分不像這些，因他是造作萬有的主；以色列也是他產業的支派。萬軍之耶和華是他的名。

創造諸天的耶和華，製造成全大地的神，他創造堅定大地，並非使地荒涼，是要給人居住。他如此說：我是耶和華，再沒有別神。

蓋造他的聖所，好像高峯，又像他建立永存之地；

耶和華以智慧立地，以聰明定天，

我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裏呢？你若有聰明，只管說吧！你若曉得就說，是誰定地的尺度？是誰把準繩拉在其上？地的根基安置在何處？地的角石是誰安放的？那時，晨星一同歌唱；神的眾子也都歡呼。

天上的天和天上的水，你們都要讚美他！願這些都讚美耶和華的名！因他一吩咐便都造成。

披上亮光，如披外袍，鋪張穹蒼，如鋪幔子，

耶和華論以色列的默示。鋪張諸天、建立地基、造人裏面之靈的耶和華說：

萬物是藉着他造的；凡被造的，沒有一樣不是藉着他造的。

「主耶和華啊，你曾用大能和伸出來的膀臂創造天地，在你沒有難成的事。

我手立了地的根基；我右手鋪張諸天；我一招呼便都立住。

耶和華作王！他以威嚴為衣穿上；耶和華以能力為衣，以能力束腰，世界就堅定，不得動搖。

稱謝那用智慧造天的，因他的慈愛永遠長存。稱謝那鋪地在水以上的，因他的慈愛永遠長存。

他把地建立在海上，安定在大水之上。

諸天藉耶和華的命而造；萬象藉他口中的氣而成。

耶和華啊，你所造的何其多！都是你用智慧造成的；遍地滿了你的豐富。

神說：「諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。」神就造出空氣，將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了。事就這樣成了。神稱空氣為「天」。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。神說：「天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來。」事就這樣成了。

以雅各的神為幫助、仰望耶和華－他神的，這人便為有福！耶和華造天、地、海，和其中的萬物；他守誠實，直到永遠。

創造諸天，鋪張穹蒼，將地和地所出的一併鋪開，賜氣息給地上的眾人，又賜靈性給行在其上之人的神耶和華，他如此說：

因為萬有都是靠他造的，無論是天上的，地上的；能看見的，不能看見的；或是有位的，主治的，執政的，掌權的；一概都是藉着他造的，又是為他造的。

他一發聲，空中便有多水激動；他使雲霧從地極上騰；他造電隨雨而閃，從他府庫中帶出風來。

你的誠實存到萬代；你堅定了地，地就長存。

神將北極鋪在空中，將大地懸在虛空；

誰升天又降下來？誰聚風在掌握中？誰包水在衣服裏？誰立定地的四極？他名叫甚麼？他兒子名叫甚麼？你知道嗎？

我造地，又造人在地上。我親手鋪張諸天；天上萬象也是我所命定的。

耶和華如此說：在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我濟助了你。我要保護你，使你作眾民的中保；復興遍地，使人承受荒涼之地為業。

從你出胎，造就你的救贖主－耶和華如此說：我－耶和華是創造萬物的，是獨自鋪張諸天、鋪開大地的。誰與我同在呢？
