高天啊，你要赞美祂！穹苍之上的水啊，你要赞美祂！愿这一切都来赞美耶和华！因为祂一发命令便创造了万物。

你身披光华如披外袍，你铺展穹苍如铺幔子。

以下是耶和华关于以色列的启示。铺展穹苍、奠立大地的根基、塑造人灵魂的耶和华说：

“主耶和华啊，看啊，你伸出大能的臂膀创造天地，你无所不能。

诸天靠祂的话而造，群星靠祂口中的气而成。

耶和华啊，你的创造多么繁多！你用智慧造了这一切，大地充满了你创造的万物。

上帝说：“水与水之间要有穹苍，把水分开。”果然如此。上帝开辟了穹苍，用穹苍将水上下分开。上帝称穹苍为天空。晚上过去，早晨到来，这是第二天。上帝说：“天空下面的水要聚在一处，使干地露出来。”果然如此。

因为万物都是借着祂创造的，天上的、地上的、有形的、无形的、做王的、统治的、执政的、掌权的，一切都是借着祂也是为了祂而创造的。

祂一声令下，天上大水涌动；祂使云从地极升起，使闪电在雨中发出，祂从自己的仓库吹出风来。

你的信实万代长存；你创造了大地，使它恒久不变。

祂将北极铺在空中，将地悬在虚无中；

谁升上高天又降下来？谁将风聚在掌中？谁将众水裹在衣服里？谁定了地的边界？祂叫什么名字？祂儿子叫什么名字？你知道吗？

是我造了大地，又造了地上的人；我亲手铺展穹苍，布置天上的万象。

耶和华说：“在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；在拯救的日子，我帮助了你。我要保护你，使你做我跟民众立约的中保，复兴家园，分配荒凉的产业。

在母腹中造你、救赎你的耶和华说：“我是创造万物的耶和华，我独自铺展穹苍，开辟大地。
