“ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.

Listen, islands, to me. Listen, you peoples, from afar: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the inside of my mother, he has mentioned my name.

Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.

However God’s firm foundation stands, having this seal,“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and,“ Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.”Now in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor.If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master’s use, prepared for every good work.

This is what Yahweh who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you says:“ Don’t be afraid, Jacob my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways,

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,

He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,

Their Redeemer is strong: Yahweh of Armies is his name. He will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says to me:“ Take this cup of the wine of wrath from my hand, and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.They will drink, and reel back and forth, and be insane, because of the sword that I will send among them.”Then I took the cup at Yahweh’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom Yahweh had sent me:Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, with its kings and its princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is today;Pharaoh king of Egypt, with his servants, his princes, and all his people;and all the mixed people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the Philistines, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;Edom, Moab, and the children of Ammon;and all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who have the corners of their beard cut off;and all the kings of Arabia, all the kings of the mixed people who dwell in the wilderness;and all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the surface of the earth. The king of Sheshach will drink after them.
