“ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

“ Before I formed you in your mother’s body I chose you. Before you were born I set you apart to serve me. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.”

“ I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

“ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.

I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.

But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

And now the Lord says, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him; and that Israel might be gathered to him— for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord, and my God has become my strength—

But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and,“ Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable.Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,

for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,

And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,

Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

Thus the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me:“ Take from my hand this cup of the wine of wrath, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it.They shall drink and stagger and be crazed because of the sword that I am sending among them.”So I took the cup from the Lord’s hand, and made all the nations to whom the Lord sent me drink it:Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and officials, to make them a desolation and a waste, a hissing and a curse, as at this day;Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his officials, all his people,and all the mixed tribes among them; all the kings of the land of Uz and all the kings of the land of the Philistines( Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastland across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who cut the corners of their hair;all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed tribes who dwell in the desert;all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media;all the kings of the north, far and near, one after another, and all the kingdoms of the world that are on the face of the earth. And after them the king of Babylon shall drink.
