I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

“ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.

Coasts and islands, listen to me; distant peoples, pay attention. The LORD called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb.

Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one of them began.

But when God, who from my mother’s womb set me apart and called me by his grace, was pleasedto reveal his Son in me, so that I could preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, bearing this inscription: The Lord knows those who are his, and let everyone who calls on the name of the Lord turn away from wickedness.Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also those of wood and clay; some for honorable use and some for dishonorable.So if anyone purifies himself from anything dishonorable, he will be a special instrument, set apart, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

This is the word of the LORD your Maker, the one who formed you from the womb: He will help you. Do not fear, Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

Finally, the king of Sheshak will drink after them.
