Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye peoples, from far: Jehovah hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name:

Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them.

But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me, even from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master’s use, prepared unto every good work.

Thus saith Jehovah that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

Yea and thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Most High: For thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to make ready his ways;

And it came to pass, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit;

see, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

And Jehovah said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken; for thou hast found favor in my sight, and I know thee by name.

And Moses said unto Jehovah, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found favor in my sight.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:

and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,

Their Redeemer is strong; Jehovah of hosts is his name: he will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

For thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, unto me: Take this cup of the wine of wrath at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.Then took I the cup at Jehovah’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom Jehovah had sent me:to wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon;and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that have the corners of their hair cut off;and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the wilderness;and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
