When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

嗣後、爾上帝耶和華導爾入所得之地、必以純嘏宣播於其哩心山、以咒詛彰明於以八山。

汝既濟約但、使西面、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫、立於其哩心山、為民祝嘏、

我祖崇拜於此山、爾曹言、崇拜當在耶路撒冷、孰是、

以色列族長老族長、爰及刑官、立於法匱左右、即舁耶和華法匱之祭司利未人前、宗族旅人俱在、其半對其哩心山、其半對以八山、循耶和華僕摩西所命、為以色列族祝嘏。

為強暴故拘繫者、當縱之自逸、釋人重負、伸人屈抑、折人衡軛、禁食若此、我何不喜。饑者食之、貧者寓之、裸者衣之、戚屬遭難、毋掩面而不睹。則爾之光明、必如平旦、爾之沉痾、一朝頓失、爾之仁義、護爾於前、我之榮光、衛爾於後。如爾待人不虐遇、不譏訕、不讒毀、則爾呼籲我、我應甚速、若在左右、如爾大發仁心、賑饑濟困、則爾之暗、可變為光、赫然若日方中。

患難之際、禱告於我、我爾援、爾我頌兮、上帝語惡人曰、爾何假我律例、藉予聖教、惡訓言而不守、棄我道其如遺兮、見賊則喜與同謀、遇姦則結為黨羽、口惟出惡言、舌惟施詭詐兮、謗爾昆弟、譭爾同氣兮、我弗譴爾、遂謂我與人無異、我必責爾、彰爾罪戾兮、

念茲勿忘、不矜恤人者、則被鞫時、亦必不見矜恤、惟素矜恤人者、喜以待鞫、

其臣俯伏拜曰、請主寛我、我將盡償、主憐而釋之、免其債、其臣出、遇同僚、負十金、執之、扼其吭曰、爾所負者、當償我、同僚俯伏求曰、請寛我、我將盡償、弗許、下之獄、責償所負、諸同僚見之、憂甚、以其事赴愬於主、主召之曰、惡哉臣也、爾所負求我、我則免之、不當矜恤同僚、亦猶我矜恤爾乎、由是主怒、交之獄吏、責償所負、

斯時籲我、而我弗聽、竭力求恩、而不可得。爾素不志於學、不畏耶和華、

不聽律法者即祈於上、亦為上帝所疾。

貧者有求、爾弗之聽、則汝有求、亦莫爾應。

爾曹殺人、雖舉手禱告弗輟、我必不俯聞、而遐棄爾。

俾我勝寇敵、滅仇讎兮、彼求助於人不見援兵、籲耶和華而弗之應兮、
