When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and raised his voice and called out. And he said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, lords of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

And when they told[ it] to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

When they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim and lifted up his voice, cried out, and said to them,“ Listen to me, you men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

將來永恆主你的上帝領你進了你正要進去取得為業之地以後，你要將祝福擺在基利心山上，將咒詛擺在以巴路山上。

『你們過了約但河，以下這些支派的人、西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫、要站在基利心山上給人民祝福；

我們的祖宗在這山上敬拜；你們倒說、敬拜的地方應當在耶路撒冷。』

以色列眾人和他們的長老、官吏、審判官、都站在櫃的這邊和那邊、當着那些抬永恆主約櫃的祭司利未人面前，無論是寄居的、是本地人，一半對着基利心山、一半對着以巴路山、照永恆主的僕人摩西所吩咐的、先給以色列民祝福，

『豈不是打開兇惡的銬鐐，解下軛上的繩索，使被壓制的得自由，折斷一切的軛麼？豈不是把你的食物分給饑餓的人，將流浪的貧困人帶到你家中，見赤身裸體的、給他衣服遮身，而不躲藏避開你骨肉之親麼？這樣，你的光就必暴發如破曉，你的新肉就必迅速地生；你的義氣就必在你前頭行進；永恆主的榮光就必做你的後衛了。那時你呼求，永恆主就必應你；你喊救，他就必說：「啊，我在這裏！」『你若從你中間除掉壓制人的軛，除掉手指頭的指罵人和奸惡的講話；你若將你的食物拿出來供應饑餓的人，使困苦的人得到滿足，那你的光就必在黑暗中昇現起來，你的幽暗就必變像中午。

在患難的日子你要呼求我，我便救拔你；你就榮耀我。』對惡人呢、上帝卻說：『你有甚麼權利可以背誦我的律例，口中提到我的約呢？你啊、你恨惡管教，卻將我的話丟在背後。你見了盜賊，就樂意跟他同夥；你又和行姦淫的人一同有分。你使你的口任說壞話，你的舌頭編造詭詐。你坐着說你兄弟的壞話，挑剔你親母的兒子。你行了這些事，我緘不作聲；你想我和你一樣。其實我要責備你，要將這些事擺在你眼前呢。

對於不行憐恤的人、審判是沒有憐恤的：行憐恤，憐恤就超審判而誇勝了。

那奴僕就俯伏拜他說：「主啊，寬容我吧，一切我都要還你」。那奴僕的主人動了憐憫的心，就釋放他，免了他的借款。但那奴僕出來，遇見他的一個同伴，欠他一百日工錢的，便抓着他，掐住他的喉嚨，說：「你所欠的，都要還！」他的同伴就俯伏求他說：「寬容我吧，我要還你」。他卻不肯，反而去，設法把他下在監裏，等他還了所欠的債。同做奴僕的見了所經過的事，就極其憂愁；去把所經過的一切事都給主人講明。於是主人叫他來，對他說：「惡奴才，因你求了我，那全部的債我都免了你；你豈不應當憐恤和你同做奴僕的，像我憐恤你麼？」主人發怒，就把他送交司刑官，等他償還所欠的一切債。

那時他們必呼求我，我卻不應；他們必尋找我，卻尋不見；因為他們恨惡知識，並不選擇敬畏永恆主的事；

轉耳不聽指教的、他的祈禱也可厭惡。

堵着耳朵不聽貧寒人哀呼的、他將來呼叫，也得不到答應。

你們伸開雙手來禱告，我必掩目不看你們；就使你們多多禱告，我也不聽；你們的手都滿了血，你們的指頭滿了罪孽。

你使我仇敵向我轉背逃跑，恨我的人、我就剿滅他們。他們呼救，也沒有人拯救；呼求永恆主，永恆主也不應。
