When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

我所喜悦的禁食，难道不是以下这样吗？松开邪恶的锁链，解开轭上的绳索，使被欺压的人得自由，折断一切的轭，把你的粮食分给饥饿的人，把流浪的困苦人接到家中，见到赤身的人就给他衣服穿，不回避有需要的骨肉之亲。如果你这样做，你的光就必喷薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康复；你的公义必行在你前面，耶和华的荣耀必作你的后盾；那时你呼求，耶和华必回应；你呼救，他必说：‘我在这里。’如果你除去你当中的轭，除去对人的指摘和恶毒的言谈；如果你为饥饿的人献上身心，使困苦的人身心满足；那么，你的光就必在黑暗中升起，你的幽暗必明如正午；

在患难的日子里，你当呼求我，我必搭救你，而你将荣耀我。”但神对恶人说：“你凭什么讲述我的律例，口中提起我的约呢？实际上，你恨恶管教，把我的话语丢在身后。你看见窃贼时，就喜悦与他在一起，你又与通奸的人一同有份。你让你的口发出恶言，让你的舌编造谎话。你坐着说话攻击你的弟兄，毁谤你母亲的儿子。你做了这些，我还保持沉默；你就以为我完全像你一样；其实我要责备你，并且把这些摆列在你眼前。

要知道，那不施怜悯的人，要受毫无怜悯的审判；怜悯胜过审判。

“那奴仆就俯伏拜他，说：‘请宽容我吧，将来我会把一切偿还给你。’那奴仆的主人动了怜悯之心，把他释放了，并且免了他的债。“但那奴仆出去以后，遇见一个与他同做奴仆的；这人欠他一百个银币。他就抓住这人，掐住这人的喉咙，说：‘把欠我的还给我。’“这人就俯伏在地央求他，说：‘请宽容我吧，我会还给你的。’可是他不肯，反而把这人投进监狱，直到这人能还清所欠的债。那些与他同做奴仆的看见所发生的事，就极其忧伤，去把一切都告诉他们的主人。“于是主人把那奴仆叫来，对他说：‘你这恶奴！因为你求我，我就免了你所有的债。难道你不也该怜悯与你同做奴仆的，像我怜悯了你一样吗？’主人就发怒，把他交给掌刑官，直到他能还清所欠的一切债。

那时，他们将呼求我，我却不回应；他们将切切寻找我，却找不到。正是因为他们恨恶知识，没有选择敬畏耶和华，

转耳不听从律法的，连他的祷告也可憎。

塞耳不听贫弱者哀声的，他自己呼求时也得不到回应。

你们伸开双手祷告的时候，我必掩目不看你们；就算你们多多祷告，我也不垂听。你们的双手沾满了血！

你使我的仇敌在我面前转身而逃，我把那些恨我的人除尽。他们呼救，却没有人拯救；他们向耶和华呼救，他也不回应。
