When Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul,“ Look, people are coming down from the mountaintops!” But Zebul said to him,“ The shadows of the mountains look like men to you.”

When Gaal saw them, he said to Zebul,“ Look, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains!” Zebul replied,“ You mistake the shadows of the mountains for men.”

Gaal saw them. He said to Zebul,“ Look! People are coming down from the tops of the mountains!” Zebul replied,“ You are wrong. Those aren’t people. They are just the shadows of the mountains.”

And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul,“ Look, people are coming down from the mountaintops!” And Zebul said to him,“ You mistake the shadow of the mountains for men.”

When Gaal saw them, he said to Zebul,“ Look, there are people coming down from the hilltops!” Zebul replied,“ It’s just the shadows on the hills that look like men.”

When Gaal saw the troops, he said to Zebul,“ Look, troops are coming down from the mountaintops!” But Zebul said to him,“ The shadows of the mountains look like men to you.”

When Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul,“ Look, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains.” But Zebul said to him,“ You are seeing the shadow of the mountains as if they were people.”

And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul,“ Look, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains!” But Zebul said to him,“ You see the shadows of the mountains as if they were men.”

And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul, Behold, there come people down from the tops of the mountains. And Zebul said unto him, Thou seest the shadow of the mountains as if they were men.

Gaal saw the men and said to Zebul,“ Look, men are coming down from the tops of the hills.” But Zebul said to him,“ You are seeing the shadows on the hills– it just looks like men.”

When Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul,“ Behold, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains.” Zebul said to him,“ You see the shadows of the mountains as if they were men.”

He looked up and said,“ I see people— they look to me like trees walking.”

Doom has come on you, inhabitants of the land. The time has come; the day is near. There will be panic on the mountains and not celebration.
