God stirred up animosity between Abimelek and the citizens of Shechem so that they acted treacherously against Abimelek.

Then God stirred up trouble between Abimelek and the citizens of Shechem. So they turned against Abimelek. They decided not to follow him anymore.

And God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the leaders of Shechem, and the leaders of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech,

你们这些毁灭别人、自己还未被毁灭的人有祸了！等你们毁灭完了，就毁灭你们。你们这些欺诈别人、自己还未被欺诈的人有祸了！等你们欺诈完了，就欺诈你们。

耶和华使错谬的灵进入他们当中，使他们像又呕又吐、东倒西歪的醉汉，做什么都错误百出。

“我必使埃及人彼此为敌——手足相残，邻居互斗，城邑相争，邦国互攻。

耶和华问他用什么方法，他说，‘我要做谎言之灵，进入他众先知的口中。’耶和华说，‘你必能成功，就这样做吧。’现在，耶和华已经把谎言之灵放进这些先知口中，耶和华已决意降祸给你。”

耶和华的灵离开了扫罗，有个邪灵从耶和华那里来折磨他。扫罗的臣仆对他说：“现在有个邪灵从上帝那里来折磨你，你可以吩咐跟前的臣仆去找一个善于弹琴的人来。邪灵从上帝那里来到你身上的时候，他为你弹琴，你就会好。”

因为你们怎样论断别人，也必照样被论断；你们用什么尺度衡量别人，也要用什么尺度衡量你们。

王不听百姓的请求。这事出于耶和华上帝，为要应验祂借示罗人亚希雅先知对尼八的儿子耶罗波安说的话。

耶和华说，‘谁愿意去引诱以色列王亚哈到基列的拉末去送死呢？’众天军议论纷纷。后来，有一个灵站出来对耶和华说他愿意去。耶和华问他用什么方法，他说，‘我要做谎言之灵，进入他众先知的口中。’耶和华说，‘你必能成功，就这样做吧。’现在，耶和华已经把谎言之灵放进这些先知口中，耶和华已决意降祸给你。”

荆棘回答说，‘倘若你们诚心立我为你们的王，就投靠在我的荫下吧；不然，愿火从荆棘中冒出来吞噬黎巴嫩的香柏树。’“现在你们立亚比米勒为王，光明正大吗？你们有没有善待耶路·巴力和他一家？有没有按他的功绩对待他？

上帝就让他们是非不辨，去相信那些虚假的谎言，使一切不相信真理、反喜爱不义的人都被定罪。

王不听民众的请求。这事是出于耶和华的旨意，为要应验祂借示罗人亚希雅先知对尼八的儿子耶罗波安说的话。

扫罗从此对大卫起了嫉妒之心。第二天，从上帝那里来的邪灵突然降在扫罗身上，他就在屋子里叫闹不停，大卫照常为他弹琴。扫罗当时手上拿着矛，

否则，愿亚比米勒烧灭你们示剑人和米罗人，也愿你们示剑人和米罗人烧灭亚比米勒。”
