Gideon and his three hundred men, exhausted yet keeping up the pursuit, came to the Jordan and crossed it.

Gideon and his 300 men were very tired. But they kept on chasing their enemies. They came to the Jordan River and went across it.

And Gideon came to the Jordan and crossed over, he and the 300 men who were with him, exhausted yet pursuing.

所以，既然我們有這許多見證人如同雲彩圍繞着我們，就該卸下各樣重擔和緊緊纏累的罪，以堅忍的心奔那擺在我們前頭的路程，仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在上帝寶座的右邊。你們要仔細想想這位忍受了罪人如此頂撞的耶穌，你們就不致心灰意懶了。你們與罪惡爭鬥，還沒有抵抗到流血的地步。

百姓中有一人對他說：「你父親曾叫百姓嚴嚴地起誓說，今日吃東西的人必受詛咒；因此百姓就疲乏了。」約拿單說：「我父親給這地添麻煩了。你們看，我嘗了這一點蜜，眼睛就明亮了。

大衛帶着四百人往前追趕；有二百人疲乏，不能過比梭溪，留在那裏。

他們捉住了米甸的兩個領袖，俄立和西伊伯。他們在俄立磐石上殺了俄立，在西伊伯酒池那裏殺了西伊伯。他們追趕米甸人，把俄立和西伊伯的首級帶到約旦河對岸，到基甸那裏。
