Gideon and his three hundred men, exhausted yet keeping up the pursuit, came to the Jordan and crossed it.

Gideon and his 300 men were very tired. But they kept on chasing their enemies. They came to the Jordan River and went across it.

所以，既然我们有这许多见证人如同云彩围绕着我们，就该卸下各样重担和紧紧缠累的罪，以坚忍的心奔那摆在我们前头的路程，仰望我们信心的创始成终者耶稣，他因那摆在前面的喜乐，轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦难，如今已坐在神宝座的右边。你们要仔细想想这位忍受了罪人如此顶撞的耶稣，你们就不致心灰意懒了。你们与罪恶争斗，还没有抵抗到流血的地步。

百姓中有一人对他说：“你父亲曾叫百姓严严地起誓说，今日吃东西的人必受诅咒；因此百姓就疲乏了。”约拿单说：“我父亲给这地添麻烦了。你们看，我尝了这一点蜜，眼睛就明亮了。

大卫带着四百人往前追赶；有二百人疲乏，不能过比梭溪，留在那里。

他们捉住了米甸的两个领袖，俄立和西伊伯。他们在俄立磐石上杀了俄立，在西伊伯酒池那里杀了西伊伯。他们追赶米甸人，把俄立和西伊伯的首级带到约旦河对岸，到基甸那里。
