They also failed to show any loyalty to the family of Jerub- Baal( that is, Gideon) in spite of all the good things he had done for them.

Jerub- Baal had done many good things for the Israelites. But they weren’t faithful to his family. Jerub- Baal was another name for Gideon.

and they did not show steadfast love to the family of Jerubbaal( that is, Gideon) in return for all the good that he had done to Israel.

Nor did they show any loyalty to the family of Jerub baal( that is, Gideon), despite all the good he had done for Israel.

nor did they show kindness to the household of Jerubbaal( that is, Gideon) in accordance with all the good that he had done for Israel.

nor did they show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal( Gideon) in accordance with the good he had done for Israel.

neither showed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had showed unto Israel.

He went to his father’s house in Ophrah and killed his seventy brothers, the sons of Jerubbaal, on top of a large stone. But Jotham, the youngest son of Jerubbaal, survived, because he hid.

There was a small city with few men in it. A great king came against it, surrounded it, and built large siege works against it.Now a poor wise man was found in the city, and he delivered the city by his wisdom. Yet no one remembered that poor man.
