They also failed to show any loyalty to the family of Jerub- Baal( that is, Gideon) in spite of all the good things he had done for them.

Jerub- Baal had done many good things for the Israelites. But they weren’t faithful to his family. Jerub- Baal was another name for Gideon.

and they did not show steadfast love to the family of Jerubbaal( that is, Gideon) in return for all the good that he had done to Israel.

Nor did they show any loyalty to the family of Jerub baal( that is, Gideon), despite all the good he had done for Israel.

They did not show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal( that is, Gideon) for all the good he had done for Israel.

nor did they show kindness to the household of Jerubbaal( that is, Gideon) in accordance with all the good that he had done for Israel.

nor did they show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal( Gideon) in accordance with the good he had done for Israel.

They did not show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal( that is, Gideon) for all the good he had done for Israel.

Neither shewed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal,[ namely], Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had shewed unto Israel.

They did not treat the family of Jerub-Baal( that is, Gideon) fairly in return for all the good he had done for Israel.

Now therefore, if ye have dealt truly and uprightly, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands( for my father fought for you, and adventured his life, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:and ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maid- servant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother);if ye then have dealt truly and uprightly with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice ye in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:

And he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being threescore and ten persons, upon one stone: but Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself.

There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it.Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
