求你待他們，如待米甸，如在基順河待西西拉和耶賓一樣。他們在隱‧多珥滅亡，成了地上的糞土。求你使他們的貴族像俄立和西伊伯，使他們的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。因為他們說：「我們要得上帝的住處，作自己的產業。」

因為他們所負的重軛和肩頭上的杖，並欺壓者的棍，你都已經折斷，如同在米甸的日子一般。

那日，摩押在以色列手下制伏了。於是這地太平八十年。

萬軍之耶和華要舉起鞭子來攻擊他，好像在俄立磐石那裏擊打米甸人一樣。他的杖向海伸出，他必把杖舉起，如在埃及一般。
