Gideon sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying,“ Come down against the Midianites and seize the waters of the Jordan ahead of them as far as Beth Barah.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out and they seized the waters of the Jordan as far as Beth Barah.

Gideon sent messengers through the entire hill country of Ephraim. They said,“ Come on down against the Midianites. Take control of the waters of the Jordan River before they get there. Do it all the way to Beth Barah.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out. They took control of the waters of the Jordan all the way to Beth Barah.

Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying,“ Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them, as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.

Gideon also sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying,“ Come down to attack the Midianites. Cut them off at the shallow crossings of the Jordan River at Beth barah.” So all the men of Ephraim did as they were told.

Then Gideon sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying,“ Come down against Midian and take control of the waters ahead of them, as far as Beth barah and the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were summoned, and they took control of the waters as far as Beth barah and the Jordan.

Then Gideon sent messengers throughout all the mountains of Ephraim, saying,“ Come down against the Midianites, and seize from them the watering places as far as Beth Barah and the Jordan.” Then all the men of Ephraim gathered together and seized the watering places as far as Beth Barah and the Jordan.

And Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill- country of Ephraim, saying, Come down against Midian, and take before them the waters, as far as Beth- barah, even the Jordan. So all the men of Ephraim were gathered together, and took the waters as far as Beth- barah, even the Jordan.

Take control of the fords of the streams all the way to Beth Barah and the Jordan River.” When all the Ephraimites had assembled, they took control of the fords all the way to Beth Barah and the Jordan River.

Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying,“ Come down against Midian and take the waters before them as far as Beth Barah, even the Jordan!” So all the men of Ephraim were gathered together and took the waters as far as Beth Barah, even the Jordan.

基列人占据约旦河各渡口，不让以法莲人过去。如果有以法莲的逃兵请求过河，基列人便问他：“你是以法莲人吗？”如果他否认，

最要紧的是：你们行事为人要与基督的福音相称。这样，不管是去看你们，还是只听到你们的消息，我都能知道你们同心合意，坚定不移地一起为福音奋斗，

这事发生在约旦河东岸的伯大尼，那里是约翰给人施洗的地方。
