The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted,“ A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

The three fighting groups blew their trumpets. They smashed their jars. They held their torches in their left hands. They held in their right hands the trumpets they were going to blow. Then they shouted the battle cry,“ A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the jars. They held in their left hands the torches, and in their right hands the trumpets to blow. And they cried out,“ A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

Then all three groups blew their horns and broke their jars. They held the blazing torches in their left hands and the horns in their right hands, and they all shouted,“ A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

When the three units blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers, they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing, and shouted,“ A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers— they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing— and they cried,“ The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!”

And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the torches in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands wherewith to blow; and they cried, The sword of Jehovah and of Gideon.

Have seven priests carry seven ram’s-horn trumpets in front of the ark. But on the seventh day, march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the ram’s horns.

So the troops shouted, and the ram’s horns sounded. When they heard the blast of the ram’s horn, the troops gave a great shout, and the wall collapsed. The troops advanced into the city, each man straight ahead, and they captured the city.

And I will also make every effort so that you are able to recall these things at any time after my departure.

After the seventh time, the priests blew the ram’s horns, and Joshua said to the troops,“ Shout! For the LORD has given you the city.

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us.

Short blasts are to be sounded for them to set out.When calling the assembly together, you are to sound long blasts, not short ones.The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to sound the trumpets. Your use of these is a permanent statute throughout your generations.“ When you enter into battle in your land against an adversary who is attacking you, sound short blasts on the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the LORD your God and be saved from your enemies.You are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and your fellowship sacrifices and on your joyous occasions, your appointed festivals, and the beginning of each of your months. They will serve as a reminder for you before your God: I am the LORD your God.”

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

On that day a great ram’s horn will be blown, and those lost in the land of Assyria will come, as well as those dispersed in the land of Egypt; and they will worship the LORD at Jerusalem on the holy mountain.
