得聞敵言、則有勇力、可下攻營、遂攜僕普拉而往、至其營隅、近於行伍、

聽眾所言、後即遇敵、可強乃志。其田與其僕部喇遂下、至營之極處、近於行伍。

我靠着那加給我力量的，凡事都能做。

基甸到了那裏，看哪，有一人把夢告訴同伴說：「看哪，我做了一個夢。看哪，一個大麥餅滾入米甸營中，來到帳幕，把帳幕撞倒，帳幕就翻轉倒塌了。」同伴回答說：「這不是別的，而是以色列人約阿施的兒子基甸的刀。上帝已把米甸和全軍都交在他手中了。」基甸聽見這夢的敘述和夢的解釋，就敬拜上帝。他回到以色列營中，說：「起來吧！耶和華已把米甸軍隊交在你們手中了。」

你們要使軟弱的手強壯，使無力的膝蓋穩固；對心裏焦急的人說：「要剛強，不要懼怕。看哪，你們的上帝要來施報，要施行極大的報應，他必來拯救你們。」

他們歡歡喜喜地守除酵節七日，因為耶和華使他們歡喜。耶和華又使亞述王的心轉向他們，堅固他們的手，去做上帝－以色列上帝殿的工。

他對我說：「我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。為基督的緣故，我以軟弱、凌辱、艱難、迫害、困苦為可喜樂的事；因為我甚麼時候軟弱，甚麼時候就剛強了。

約拿單說：「看哪，我們要過去到那些人那裏，在他們那裏展現我們自己。他們若對我們這麼說：『站住，等我們到你們那裏去』，我們就站在原地，不上他們那裏去；但他們若這麼說：『上到我們這裏來吧』，我們就上去，因為耶和華把他們交在我們手裏了。這就是我們的憑據。」

掃羅的兒子約拿單起身，到樹林裏去見大衛，使他的手倚靠上帝得以堅固，

站崗的士兵對約拿單和拿兵器的人說：「上到這裏來，我們有一件事要告訴你們。」約拿單就對拿兵器的人說：「跟我上去，因為耶和華把他們交在以色列人手裏了。」

我向哪一個少女說：『請你放下水瓶來，給我水喝』，她若說：『請喝！我也給你的駱駝喝』，願她作你所選定給你僕人以撒的妻。這樣，我就知道你施恩給我的主人了。」

上帝領百姓繞道而行，走曠野的路到紅海。以色列人出埃及地，都帶着兵器上去。

最後，你們要靠着主，依賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。

為要他按着他豐盛的榮耀，藉着他的靈，使你們內心的力量剛強起來；

他們全都要使我們懼怕，說：「他們的手必軟弱，不能工作，以致不能完工。」現在，求你堅固我的手。
